![]() ![]() | Random thoughts and stuff of the day As the title states, this is going to be a part of my journal in which I write down some of the random thoughts and/or ideas I have/had during the course of the day. For today (5/16) -SONY, or rather BandaiNamco Games in this case, must be making a quite a bit of fortune in Japan due to all the items that they've got up on the PlayStation Network. Not only can you now directly purchase and DL newly released games but they've got ample additions for games that are already out. Mainly I refer to the "The IDOLM@STER SP" series as they offer a variety of updates each month. I've already sunk in about 7,000yen ('bout $70?) just for the IDOLM@STER additions such as new costumes for the characters and new songs. -Has the world done an 180 without my knowing? My old man came out of the blue and offered to help me get a plane ticket to JAPAN!!! *I think that hell just may have frozen over* (O_O) -My What is "moe" to you? thread is dying...or rather IS dead. -I'm getting really tired of the recent level of the noobs, too low man, LOW. -The "ToraDora! Portable" I got for my PSP is surprisingly hard...so far I've only acquired 4 out of the 20+ endings. (O_O) Though I cant complain as it has great replay value and I just love "ToraDora!" -I'm loving the anime "K-On!"

![]() ![]() | Re: Random thoughts of the day Random ideas/thoughts for the day (5/17) -Debating on what to do for the summer...thinking of getting a part-time job on the side to save up money for my supposed trip to Japan. -Still thinking on my old man's offer on the trip to Japan. Ofcourse I'd kill to go but the problem is while I'm away I would need to find a way to pay my loans, etc. while being away. Another problem...if and when I DO go to Japan, WHY WOULD I WANT TO COME BACK? Really?

![]() ![]() | Re: Random thoughts of the day It's especially true for us otakus...the only slight advantage that the US has over Japan (speaking in terms of anime, etc) is the DVD prices and the availability of Limited Edition versions of series that are otherwise very pricey and hard to obtain in Japan. ...and yes, "ToraDora! Portable" has 20+ endings, it's surprisingly hard. It's a basically a dating sim-ish game and you just go through the story via choosing your answers in the conversation between characters...however, they added a bit of a twist in "ToraDora! P". You must have specific items (obtained via finding them on the map or receiving them from other characters) in order to choose the other options, otherwise you end up with the forced "bad" endings. So if you talk to characters in the wrong "order" or couldnt find the item on the map, you basically waste that playthrough of the game...a real pain. Otherwise it is a GREAT game. I especially love the mini-games....(OvO) ...and I'll say that the PSP is a great investment seeing as it's region free and there are PLENTY of awesome games available. I just wish the US offered the different color variations...orz <- Wanted the Crimson PSP *Duh*

![]() ![]() | Re: Random thoughts of the day Random thoughts/ideas/stuff for today (5/18) -Got yet another one of my package of goods from Japan. For now I've settled down with my June issues of Compitque and The Sneaker magazines along with the eleventh volume of the Polyphonica Black series: Adoration Black. Than I picked up a copy of the PC game "Touhou Phatasmagoria". -Sat down and read Polyphonica: Adoration Black in one sitting. (I REALLY hate to be disturbed and/or interrupted when I have a new game, book, anime, etc) LOVED it. The series is reaching its climax with the next volume supposedly being the final volume....which is quite sad in a sense. orz -I wish that the Polyphonica Black series made it as an animation. Polyphonica was already animated once with...12 episodes I believe. However the series mainly revolved around the events of the Crimson series. They did however have one episode that had the writer of the Black series, Osako Junichi, guest as the writer of one of the episodes that featured the characters of the Black series. Recently they've started a new season of Polyphonica but yet again it seems that it pertains to the story of the Crimson series...I havent watched it yet so there's a chance that the characters from Black may make an appearance. -Was randomly browsing through Shigatake's HP (the character designer for games such as "Odin Sphere", "GrimGrimoire", "Oboro Masamune", "Kumatan'chi") and found this: It's a screenshot from a game called "Maid in Ore" for the Nintendo DS and it's basically where you can create your own mini-games in the "WarioWare" series. Damn the pros, to be able to do such art on a DS!!!! (and yeah, it's basically "Mario Paint" on the DS) ....you're too amazing Shigatake. orz @Abu: That probably would be a more realistic and financially safe idea for myself. ^^; But at the least I'm not planning to take some time off until near the end of the year.
