Random stuff of the day: 7/18
-Volume 3 of "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi-chan" came in the mail today = I got my Nagato Yuki petite Nendoroid. Totally kick-@$$. The so-called "Super Limited Edition" also came with another booklet titled "Koizumi Itsuki's Past", a short story manga featuring Koizumi's past. Also, the limited edition has a special cover, different from the regular ones.

-Finally giving my PSP a short break...as I've unlocked all the songs and most of the costumes in "Hatsune Miku - Project DIVA" so...

-Still been practicing in Mario Kart Wii...and I've noticed the World Champion in the Time Trial ranks are a sham...like the Luigi Circuit "champ", the record was 20 seconds. Tried racing the ghost and...the ghost froze in place after 20secs, gotta be a glitch or something...Nintendo should be checking up on these things.

-A new item in the "figma" line up: Izumi Konata - summer uniform version. Personally I kinda think WTH when they do a summer/winter uniform as seperate but...guess business is business. Though I must say that I'm still gonna pick it up, not just because I've been falling behind in my figma collection but since this Konata figure comes with a great extra: Kobayakawa Yutaka's head...I make it sound gruesome but its also literal. It comes with Yu-chan's head to switch out with another characters' = they dont have to make a figma: Yutaka figure.

...on note of the "GOOD SMILE COMPANY", I wish that I still lived in Japan. They've had a help wanted ad running for quite a while at three of their branches and one of them happens to be in the Fukuoka region, where I used to live. Further more, NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE necessary!! (T^T)

Random thoughts and stuff of the day: 7/22
-Started watching some new anime: "Ookami to Koushinryou" (Spice and Wolf) season 2 and "Umineko no Naku Koro Ni" (Translates to "When the seagulls cry"). Umineko is from the same creator as "When They Cry" (original title "Higurashi no naku koro ni") Looks like its going to be another series that's going to f*ck with people's mind...just in the first episode we see a mother slap her 9 years-old child around. *I'll note that it's out of love though...so it doesnt seem HORRIBLY wrong, its just "wrong". (O_O) Still, damn, just damn...though its not as bad as "When They Cry" where we see blood and gore...for now. (O_O) (I dont even know why I keep watching these series...it has a mysterious hold over me)

-Went back to playing "Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2" on the PSP. I dont know why but, I just love playing video game golf ever since "Mario Golf" on the N64.

-Almost done with my first translation job, afterwards I can move onto Abu's "Lucky Star" translations

Random thoughts and stuff of the day: 7/24
-FINISHED MY FIRST TRANSLATION JOB!!! WOOT~!!!! Now I wait to hear back from...my "client"(?) (Is that what I should refer to him as?) to get me my $$$. (*w*)

-I got my goods from Japan, Comptiq August issue and the PSP game "Eureka 7".

-Played the "Eureka 7" game, it was good...but rather short. Already cleared it...took me about 5 hours. The game covers the first half of the series all the way up to the 26th ep "Morning Glory". But it was a good game, full voiced was the big selling point to me. Also a ton of mini-games that work into the story and the LFO battles are rather enjoyable too...for the first few times, afterwards it becomes very repetitive. Graphics are fairly high for PSP standards and the tracks are true to the original anime tracks. (ofcourse there are numerous remixes)

-The August issue of Comptiq featured "Lucky Star", big selling point to me. LOLs. Came with a "Lucky Star" pen case and a separate "Lucky Star" feature book. The book contained info on the new upcoming PSP game "Lucky Star - Net Idol Meister". (Due out 12/24/08) Also contained a short "Lucky Star" comic featuring Yutaka, Minami, and Hiyori. On a side note the 7th Volume of the Lucky Star manga is due out 10/10. Another note of the manga: Patricia now lives at the Izumi household with Konata and Yutaka now...dont know when that happened, apparently I missed the issue of which ever magazine featured that 4-koma strip. orz

Random thoughts and stuff of the day: 7/25
Not a whole lot today...

-Watched new eps of "Ookami to Koushinryou ll" (Spice and Wolf ll) and "Umineko no Naku Koro ni" (When the Seagulls Cry). Totally forgot how "moe" Horo was in "Spice and Wolf", its been so long since the original first season so...As for "Umineko", I was totally right about the blood and gore coming in. Just in ep2 we get a bunch of murdered people with their faces torn apart. (T^T) Why do I keep watching!?

Random thoughts and stuff of the day: 7/27
- HAPPY FRIKKING BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!! I'm 23 years old now....orz My life is FAR from what I'd imagined to what it'd be like. (T^T)

-Went and gotten my car inspected today and...FAIL!!!....it just further increased my hate for cars. STOP TAKING UP SO MUCH OF MY TIME AND MONEY~!!!!!!!!!!!!!! G'DAMMIT PIECE OF SH*T!!!! Now its three for three, in terms of speaking of cars. My first car died on me barely after 6 months after purchase...I mean, the engine quite literally blew, just driving it and BOOM, parts flying out from under my car. (T^T) Than my second car lasted three times that...bought it for about 3000, in the year and the half I've had it I've put in nearly 8000 in repairs and parts. Lets wait and see how far this third one goes...though I'm betting not that far. orz

-Volume 1 of the "Lucky Star" manga is now available in the USA through BANDAI Entertainment. Hooray for BANDAI!!! Atleast one good thing happened today....(^_^);;;;

Random thoughts and stuff of the day: 7/28
-Took my car to another auto shop to get a second opinion. Turns out I can get the repairs done for 1/3 the price of the last place. Now I'm slightly less upset. (^-^)

-Went back and played "Animal Crossing: City Folks". Its been so long that my home was infested with cockroaches and my character had a cow lick hair, which actually I like. While spending an hour pulling out weeds I learned something new in AC:CF, apparently dangerous animals such as Scorpions and Tarantulas exist...and apparently they can attack you too. I've got hit by the scorpion five times and by a tarantula twice. WTF!!?
