-My cousin helped my out and offered to fix my car...for 1/10 of the price of the first garage I went to, WIN. Thanx cuz~

Random thoughts and stuff of the day: 8/3
-Got my books for the month from Japan: Comp Ace and Shonen Ace September issues. Damn that Kadokawa, always giving out awesome goods with their books while still keeping the base price the same. I mean seriously, Shonen Ace came with a Haruhi T-SHIRT!!!! Its an awesome shirt to add, smexy Haruhi in summer clothes printed on a red shirt, what more could I ask for?

-Also bought the September issue of the US version of Shonen JUMP. I gotta say, "Naruto" has gotten MUCH more interesting since they've gotten into the "Shippuden" storyline and the vs. Akatsuki story arc. But my current JUMP favorite is "Ultimo", a collaboration between the creator of "Shaman King" Takei Hiroyuki and...Stan Lee!!? Yeah, "Stan Lee", how f'king awesome is that!?

-My car is now all set, everything that failed inspection is now fixed and thanks to my cousin I saved a fortune, possibly allowing me to buy either a game or a DVD set this month. This is a huge plus for me as currently almost all of my spending money is coming from my side-job of doing translations, the income from my full-time job disappears into stuff like rent, loans/debts, etc...y'know, all that "good" stuff of the "real" world. (@_@)

-Recently I've been having a serious urge to get and learn how to play a guitar. This sudden interest most likely stemmed from watching "K-On!". Anyone else ever get that? You're watching an anime/TV show/Movie or something and you just wanna try something that you see in it? Like when I was a kid I wanted to take up martial arts while watching "G-Gundam"....erm, yeah.(@_@) (that never happened btw) However buying a guitar isnt something I can do on a whim so...maybe if I win some extra $$$ via lotto ticket. (@v@);; But I am seriously tempted to get one and learn to play the tracks from "Guilty Gear", the game tracks are just so awesome.

-My "new" bookshelf is already falling apart on me due to the excessive weight of the numerous issues of Shonen Ace, Comp Ace, and Comptiq magazines stacked onto it...orz. Maybe I should get a thin metal sheet or something to re-enforce it?

-Been playing "Disgaea DS" on my spare time and....I've FINALLY beaten Baal!!!! Woot!!!!!!! Now its onto trying to defeat Prinny Baal. orz

Random thoughts and stuff of recent days:
-Got the new issue of "Comptiq" magazine in the mail, loved the goods for the Sept issue: 3 Deco Stickers for the PSP featuring "Melty Blood", "Lyrical Nanoha - Vivid", and ofcourse my favorite "Lucky Star". Though unfortunately I'm not going to use any of it as of yet since: 1. I dont know if they're re-usable. 2: The BG of all 3 are white, doesnt fit in so well with my black PSP...think I'll wait til I get a white one. (Why doesnt the US offer the different color variations like in Japan!?)

-Traded in a bunch of my old games that I NEVER play...I actually got a bit more than expected so I was able to buy "Fantasy Golf PANGYA" and "Generation of Choas" on the PSP. Currently obsessing over PANGYA. I love the character designs and the graphics of the game do well to portray them. Strangely enough the OP remained in the Korean language...(O_O) Though I guess its better than a US dub. *shivers at the thought*

-I really need to stop going to 4chan...MY EYES!!! (X_X)

-Desperately waiting til December to get the new Lucky Star PSP game: "Lucky Star - Net Idol Meister". Read more about it in the Comptiq magazine and I'm just getting really excited...except for the fact that somehow the "real" Shiraishi Minoru got himself into the game....yeah, like I really want to see that. )XO. Also looking forward to the "Kurogane no Linebarrel" game for the PSP coming out around the same time. To top it off I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for "Disgaea 2 Portable" for the PSP to make it onto the "PSP - The Best" list.

-Seriously thinking of taking all my earned time to leave work for a bit and hopefully either drive out or fly out to the big cities in search of a REAL job. Cuz these days, I've been on edge at work lashing out at my co-workers...though I dont feel bad for it cuz they really deserved it. XD

-Miyazaki's "Ponyo" is now in theaters in the US...thanks to, Disney!? Well cant complain if they're bringing anime into theaters...only that NONE of my so called "local" theaters are playing it....orz

-The "Lucky Star OVA" is due out next month, people should really check it out. *glances over at Abu Dhabi* Yeah, YOU. (*w*)

Random thoughts and stuff of recent days:
-I was reading through the Sept issue of Comptiq and found some rather disturbing news while reading the article on the "IDOLM@STER - Dearly Stars" coming out next month on the DS. (which I ofcourse pre-ordered, made possible thanks to my earning from my translation job...awesome) Anywho...the disturbing news?



-Besides that I've just been keeping up with "Spice and Wolf ll". Lawrence and Horo is my #1 favorite anime character couple.

-Also looking forward to the release of "Pokemon - Heart Gold" and "Pokemon - Soul Silver" next month. Assuming I make the money via my translations than I'll probably buy Heart Gold. The same goes for the "Strike Witches" and the "Spice and Wolf" DS games as well...so many games and anime, so little money. orz

-Still currently obsessing playing "Fantasy Golf - Pangya" on the PSP. Cant help but to keeping using "Kooh", she looks SO MUCH like Azusa from "K-On!" (or rather Azusa looks like her as PANGYA is older) especially with the cat ear accessory on. -w-

-really want a new PC...currently looking at SONY's laptop...4GB memory, 320GB HD, CD/DVD/BR playable...BLU RAY!!!!! Oh waits...its $800...is it worth making monthly payments for nearly 4yrs? *ponders on the thought*
