But I hate this effing show. But my daughter absolutely loves it. So I deal with it.
The fresh beat band, I think, is one of the creepiest kids shows out there next to sponge bob, which my daughter also loves. Damn those bright colors and dumb noises. Lol. I like sponge bob too though, but only cus he's so damn stupid. But the fresh beat band? They're just creepy. It's a bunch of adult ass people dressing, and acting and pretending to be school age and they sing and dance and stuff like that. Which I know is why my baby likes them. She LOVES music. She always is zombie glued to this show rockin out on the floor. It's so cute I can't change the channel. She does this even when the commercials for the show come on. They're just too old to be pretending they're kids, and dancing around with a bunch of kids playing music and stuff. But I mean the idea is cute. It's just that these folks are WAY too old!
I find the adult child dynamic of a lot of shows to be creepy though. I just find it unsettling sometimes. But on sesame street it's perfect. I love that show, and elmo's world. Elmo is my shit.
My boyfriend really digs the penguins of madagascar. I don't care for that one too much either, but I must admit I LOVE the penguins. THey are SO freakin funny. It's just the rest of the show I don't care for much. And the plots are kinda lame.

This silly kids show on nick jr. It's four adults, like...mid to upper twenties, pretending to be at least teenagers. In "music school" they dress like children and theres all kinds of kids in the dance scenes and stuff. And they play music together. It sounds pretty harmless. My daughter loves it. But I find it SO creepy. Especially the adult/kid interaction.

I think she means like stupid Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana they act like teens but are in there 20's most of the time I hate these shows they are really lame. I also agree on the Effing Show and Madagascar they both suck (the penguins are the only good part in Madagascar) try the Steven Colbert its like the Effing show but is actually funny and clever.

Nooo... I was talking about the shows I listed mostly, and little kid shows, like barny, and sesame street. I've never seen Jonas brothers, and find nothing wrong with Hannah montana, the only adult on that show is her dad, and they were teens when it started at least.
And...the whole reason I end up having to watch these things is because I have a nine month old. I think Steven Colbert would bore the heck out of her. :p

At least there's some good to it.. o.o you get to see your lil daughter's cuteness :p lol
