Thread: 18 or younger?

My folks, definitely. I tend to ignore the antics of my peers and have only two or three close friends, so there's really nothing to be learned by them anymore. My parents are the ones who are always nagging me and being a pain in the ass, and through that, that's how i learn.

If i want them to shut up and leave me alone, i have to learn the lesson they are trying to convey. So my parents are the ones who help me out the most.

My parents.. They're the ones who teach people the most whether people want to believe it or not. I'm like Neo, I only have a few close friends whom have taught me everything they can so the only person to learn from now is my parents...

well me being 18 ..sometimes i tend to listen to my friends instead of my parnets...i mean thats just what common teens do..but i feel as u get older, we will all look back and think *wow..i should have listen to my parenets" ..

To the others... Please keep in mind I am not askingwho TEACHES you the most... But rather, who has the most INFLUENCE over you.

I agree with sweetcandi if most teens answer honestly. They'd probably have to say their friends have more influence.... I mean, I know that was the case for me. Not that kids don't take in to account what their parents say. But, seriously... when your parents arent around... and its just you and your friends. And the friends want to do something that is questionable..... I'd say at least 6 out of 10 kids are gonna go along with it.

My parents used to have a big influence on my decisions and then they lost their ever

loving minds and made life less than apetizing to me. So then i turned to my peers who

just stabbed me in the back and made me more miserable. So now I just take whatevers

useful to me from whoever.

Oh and I'm a few months from being 18 so I totally count for this. Power to the teens!!!

my folks ( ie parents my older brother and my friends since my parents have known them since we were in diapies) both but when my mom says opps deary you have to take what i say seriously then her word counts more ...
