I think he meant Parliament. I understand why older people are members - they have more life experience and (in some cases) a little wisdom.

The best thing to do with these absurd laws (since removing them is in many countries illegal) is to amend the constitution.

For example:

Amendment #3 of the NameYourCountry Constitution says, "Here be a silly law."

Amendment #98034 says, "Yeah . . . Amendment #3 is dumb. Sorry! Forget we mentioned it."

I dont think any country would do that easily though hmm... some one need to step in the polictics and alter this absurd laws i think...
