...so I'm guessing there has to be proof that you killed them?
You can't just knock them out? You can't just say their body fell off a cliff?
...I suppose there's cameras.

I'm going to group with the most logical headed people.
Most likely we're either gonna' try to get out, or to sabotage the entire system.

Why bother killing the people in your school?
As good as it'd feel, by the time you get out in the real world, even participating in such actions would get you jailed.
Not worth it.


And why kill? Isn't it much more fun to knock out enemies? At least they can come back and fight again. ....... argh, but I'm thinking it out too much.

Just simply put: I'm finding my way out of this sytem.
If everyone's too crazy and killing themselves and each other off, I'm just going to find my own way.
If there's one thing I'm good at, it's finding a blind spot.
I doubt I'd survive the entire "tournament" with my awful luck, so getting out of it is the best thing I can do.


......... other than all that, that plot doesn't make any sense at all.

lol i know it sounds weird, but in the novel it's sort of historical fiction and the japanese gov. is really corrupt. what they have to monitor deaths are these collars around all the students' necks. it checks your pulse and if you try to take it off it triggers a signal and your head gets blown off. if your caught in a forbidden zone in the island then your head gets blown off. the place where all the government ppl watch you all is a forbidden zone, so if you try to take them on your head gets blown off, and they can hear everything you say--THAT'S why finding a way out is so hard.

but yeah, even with the odds stacked against me i would somehow TRY to find a way out.

I know what I would do.
I'd kill everyone I saw.
Sure, I'd make the occassional friend, maybe.
But I'd end up having to kill them after.
Just another tactic. Be all lovey-dovey, then BAM.
They're dead.
But, it also depends on what class it is that I'm in.
If I were stuck with my first period class..
Sure, they'd all be dead as fast as you can say
"What the crap what happened?"
But say it was in any other class.
I'd gladly lay down my life for someone I love.

not sure what would happend... heart would be racing and instinct would kick in...

you can't each participant's collar has a time limit. like what i said, you are already dead once you are chosen.
