Re: College Student Courses
Ok so mine is a major mix of everything. To put is simply I'm doing two degrees at the same time ( going for 4 years) a double degree so its
Bachelor of Arts/ Science Environmental Science and Planning
In the Sciences I'm majoring in Environmental Health and Minoring in GIS ( environmental montoring program you could call it x_X haven't really started that part yet)
And
In the Arts, I'm majoring in Planning ( where to put houses/factories etc so that it benefits all economics, social and enviromental factors)
and minoring in Communication - creative writing, hence the latest journal entries XD
blah, it's long can be boring, but if there was another way to become a planner or a environmental scientist (I'll be able to do both ^^) I would have!
Re: College Student Courses
I'm not in college yet, but I'll be attending NYU beginning this fall, as a major in Film & TV. The college has yet to send me instructions regarding course selection though, so ummm... yup, I haven't selected any courses as of yet. But I do plan to lean towards cinematography later on. :)
Looking forward to learning Science and Math again! Hahah. It's good to know that NYU makes us all do general studies. That way my brain won't rust.
Re: College Student Courses
I'm not really in collge yet... I'm in a training course. Business training.
It's a basic class that teaches you office procedures, computer programs, etc. Pretty much all of it I already know! lol At the end of the class I'll have my MOUS certification (Microsoft Office User Specialist).
Once I am finished I'll be heading of to college to major in Literature... At least, that's what I would like to do. ^_^

Urban planning? A lot of people I know are getting into that field.
Currently I'm at Seneca for art fundamentals, a 8 month program to improve your drawing abilities. After that I will be attending another school.
My first semester:
Digital imaging 1
Illustration 1
Color studio 1
English
Drawing 1
Studio 1
Intro to com. and appl. (useless course. I want my $65 back.)
You can guess what I will have in my 2nd semester plus stylistic drawing.
Re: College Student Courses
Those are some fairly awsome stats. In regards to this thread, anyone who has been in college can also state what they were in. And those who are expecting to be in one soon can also state thier major, degree options, etc...
(not trying to sound too bossy, but want to stimulate more conversation.)
Re: College Student Courses
I'm a senior going for a business major (focusing in accounting, since we don't have a separate accounting major at this university), and a mathematics minor. Classes for spring term include:

I may also take one of the following courses, just to round out my schedule a bit, assuming I have time:
•WR-360 Fiction Workshop
•BA-420 Securities Analysis
•BA-484 International Management
•BA-487 International Law
•CS-195 Fundamentals of Web Design
•PE-217 Teaching Weight Training and Conditioning
