Dead Thread!

since the rule has been extended to a month i see
the term beating a dead horse being used a lot now
don't get me wrong its great idea for those who might
have missed a thread or 2 but for the most part 2 weeks
was more than fair i believe.

what does everyone else think? i have seen a few that
think its good idea but do you think it giving people
who dont read the rules more of an opening to post on
a thread that hasnt been replied to 2 weeks i mean if it
hasnt ben psoted on in 2 weeks that pretty much means
everyone has had there say in the post.

I can understand where your coming from but some AO members arnt on for a while and miss out on all the other threads that were posted while they were offline.

So I think it will give them a chance to catch up on old news I guess.

you have a point but thise new rukle could be abused by those who think
there thread should stay longer than a month not saying it will happen with
poeple thinking *oh no my htread is going to die* then they post somethign
there to keep it going for another month i mean there a big loop hole there
and it would suck if people started doing that

Yeah but i'm sure their aint pointless people like that here on AO.

Also DB and the Mods must have had a good reason for extending the dead thread time or they wouldn't have done it.

true you can and i hope this realy does work , becuase this could be good thing
if done right

I hope it works as well it's a great thing to do but it would be a shame if it was wasted.

yeah it is and thuings are going really well too this new rule should
makes posting more intresting i look forward to the kinds of topics to
come from this new rule.
