It would depend on where I was and what was going on. Basically, if I was in a situation where I was definitely a goner, I'm probably push the button and hope for the best.
If you were to find a big red button labelled "Do Not Press" what would you do?
I ask this because a friend of mine sent me to the following website:
http://www.85qm.de/up/BigRedButton.swf
I, of course, pushed the button. Multiple times.
What if you were in a similar situation? You have no idea what the button does. Do you push it? Why? Why not?

I would press it im going to die anywhy so there no point in me pressing it or not to see what the button do
This world is corrupt
Save tonight and fight the break of dawn
I am so alone, I got no one to talk to, please help me
I am not a very curious creature and I know that I would not press that button no matte how hard I would have wanted to do it...I would fight against my urge to do so...because as you know what they say...curiousity kills the cat.
DO NOT MAKE ME UNLEASH MY INNER DEMON
I think that would depend on the time and place, if i were; ta say; in the White House or in a military institution or somethin' like that, I wouldn'. No point in causin' a nuclear holocaust 'cause of curiousity.LOL.
Sanity doesn't exist, it's just an excuse cooked up by crazy people to justify their actions. My myspace page: www.myspace.com/joemage
I would press the button to see what happens despite there being a sign saying "Do not press". Curiosity is what drives humans to do things we shouldn't do![]()
This little exercise reminds me exactly of one of the comic strips from Azumanga. Similar situation where one person told another explicitly to "NOT PRESS IT", but she pressed it anyway and end up "killing" the girl. lol It's our human natures to find out about things when we want are not told what is going to happen.
'Cause you give me something / That makes me scared, alright / This could be nothing / But I'm willing to give it a try / Please give me something
'Cause someday I might call you from my heart
Satisfaction brought 'em back!
Anywho, I literally went through the whole set of it 4 times. If find that amusing.
Really I'd come into a conflict if I cam across this (Not via online). Part of me would say "Screw it, Shane. If you die, it'd be worth it, not like you or anyone else around you is worthy of life.PRESS IT!"
The other would say "Don't press it...DO NOT! Remember Dexters Lab!!!!"
Really I probably wouldn't press it and walk off finding some other idiotic jackass thing to do.
"And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floorShall be lifted — nevermore!"
