It all depends on the person and the situation, some secrets r jus' better left untold. If u feel that u can confide a certain secret ta someone, then do it; but b prepared for any consequences that may occur. U never know what could happen as a result of ur revealin' the secret, ur friend might think differently of u, he (she) might blab the secret ta evry1, or nothin' at all might happen. U should b very careful in what u reveal 'bout urself ta others, not all secrets r meant ta b told.

No, I don't. As long as the secret has nothing to do with him/her, of course. I mean, best friend or not, I'm still entitled to a little privacy, aren't I?

There's notihing wrong to have secrets from your friend, there are things that you should not tell even to your best friends, either to protect yourself or to protect that friend, if it's conected to him/her. Your friends probably has secrets of their own.

I too have secrets... like 1... though there is one person who knows about that one too... ^^ I'm a very open peron you see- I don't hide anything... I could get into trouble because of that but I haven't met a person who would use it... yet...

Your best friend doesn't have to know everything in your life. There are things you keep to yourself. But in the end it's your choice if to tell them or not. So it's not wrong at all.

Its all personal preference i say.Some things you should not have to tell your best friends about.They should be able to trust you and you trust them as well.Plus if it is to personal it should not have to be told to any one.But then again some thing are best let out rather them holding them in.

i think it depends on the secret, if it involves your friend i.e. cheating w/ thier other half or catching thier other half cheating then tell them (of course it's a matter of personal honor). however if u murdered 15 people in your basement of course u don't tell

the way i see it, personal secrets about urself.... do what u please with them. its ur own choice to let someone know more about yourself, and ur the only person how can make a secret about urself anyway... and in all honesty u will never be able to tell someone everything about urself, its just the plain and simple.

though when it comes to secrets about others.... different story entirely, but we don't need to go down that road now do we?.

you don't have the obligation to tell your best friend all your secrets but if you trust you best friend you can tell him/her as long as you think he/she could help you,will understand and won't tell everyone else your secret.
in the end is your choice who you'll tell your secrets and who you won't tell.
