Thread: domestic violence

i think domestic violence like Blue said is because people can't control their emotions or it could be the fact they just don't know what to do when they feel a certain emotion or over crowded someone that feel so insecure they might lash out on others.

Yes is it wrong but with so many things these days effecting the way we live, its hard to stop somethings. thats why people are trying to help others as much as they can before it get really bad. its just hard with everything that is going wrong these days.

I would also say that it is not always that they can't control themselfs but like abuse on children has sometimes to do with
1.The fact that they don't realy want them there.
2.kids sometimes also get abused because the parents don't know how to
teach them proper diccipline so they go overboard.
3.They don't know what else to do but to beat them unnessesary.

Woman don't know???

It's a real problem in society, some people are crazy and sadistic. How could anyone physcially hurt their spouse or child? If someone gets that angry, they need serious help. The worst part is a lot of time its passed down from generation to generation. I've seen first hand what it can do and it breaks my heart more and more each time, children especially, they're our treasure and our future, and spouses, how can you hurt the one you love? It's become so commonplace in our society now and I can't understand what would provoke people to hurt those they love...its heartbreaking...

well the fact you seemed to over look is that WE CANT CONTROLL IT and WE CANT STOP IT... so.. wel.. there really isnt a chioce

I totally agree. My mother was a victim of domestic violence. All we can do is help those in need. And severely punish the men/women who commit it.

That was pretty much what I had in mind. Domestic violence is not right, no matter what the circumstances are. God didn't create us to become violent beings, to hurt one another. I'm pretty sure the offenders know it's wrong, but just have trouble controlling said emotions, and take out their anger by lashing out at someone else. They'd most obviously go for the weaker ones - namely children and women, but men can become victims as well.

It goes without saying that we cannot stop every single act of violence, nor can we fully control it, but you'll have to admit - laws have helped considerably. Whilst reinforcing these laws and such hasn't prevented all acts of violence, at least they can't get away with murder as easily. Once upon a time, you could kill somene, and not be punished for doing so. Imagine what havoc would consume us if these laws didn't exist..

if the women are being hurt then they should as least leave them for good and never come back but the women is in love with them they dont want to leave
