Thread: Dragon Con, anyone going?

Thread really lacks. Could you try providing everyone with some information of Dragon Con? Maybe bring up some way to actually discuss it.

Yes I'm going to Dragon Con this year. I've been going sense 01. For those of you who don't know what Dragon Con is , it's a giant 5 day sifi ,anime, fantasy, rpg gaming, ccg, comic book, manga, event that spans the labor day weekend starting on that friday and ends that following monday. Alot people there even dress up as almost everything from the power puff girls to Darth Vader (and I'm not talking about crapy cheep costums I mean look the f*cking part movie style outfits). It's held at the same time as 2 other cons in Atlanta so that makes for alot of extra people in the same place so it's abit crowded but if you can look past that Dragon Con is well worth it. It does cost a bit though plan on trying getting to get a hotel room sometime like NOW if you want to go. Just go to DragonCon.com and check it out for yourself.

Conventions huh...i never been to any..sheesh... is it fun there?

Acutally any con that you can go to is a blast. I've been to the anime punch and it was a blast. I am not able to go to the dragon con tho . I do know That I will be going to the Ohio Con next Januaray.
