Emotions, Helpful or bad?

I have a question...
If you could get rid of all emotions would you? You can't just get rid of the ones you don't want but ALL of them... Or alternatvily leave them all the same...
I wouls find this a hard question as i often worry about death and hate fear as i am prone to it... (You don't wanna know my problems

)

) So it is diffcult for me to decide as with out happiness my life would be empty, Hope is another one that passes me through the day.
I just wanted to know what everyone thought and if they would get rid of all emotions?

Having no emotions would only help to slaughter all of humanity, such as being a soldier. Yet through emotions comes action, and through controlling our emotion can we obtain a great control and great power. Unleashing your anger in a fight cna lead to a direct victory, sorrow is a way to learn, how to build an edurance, love a feeling of comfort, a way to be warm. Without emotion we could only be the greatest killers ever. That's only my thoughts though/

I agree with you in a way as emotions are VERY important but if fear was taken from life it would be so great, but it includeds a high price i guess... But yeh i love your predictions.

Fear also can cause a reaction much like anger. A cornered fox is dangerous. Through fear can come fighting for survival or being cautious, a way to survive. Fear is a factor of survival to my view.

Having no emotions cant be a good or helpful thing at all, could you understand how cold hearted someone would be? They would go on a killing spree and not care if they just blew up a little baby or not...evil!

Poor baby... So i guess i am wrong to think that getting rid of emotions is right... it depends on peoples lives really, and how diffrent they are in some cases.

Everything has it's pros and cons... nothing is perfect... everything good has its side effects and everything that is bad even bring good things...

Not having emotion meaning you will be like a robot... senseless... only do what you been programmed to do.. never to feel anything... that is scary... @.@ just imagining it... god.. no love? no... joy.. no.. sadness.. pain? It'll be like total,...silence and uncolourful world... a world of.. well... sheesh.. @.@

We should just be happy with what has been given to us.. and if we are suffering from it... don't be down much and think of how much good it given you ^^ and well hope for more and work for it..

walk you days with smile and just... live,... with no worries.. ^^

You know wht?? Sometimes i wonder how i would be without emotions and I have to confess I would be a perfect person! i wouldnt make a mistake and life would be great...but then i think....well LIFE wound be meanless...that why I cry when i like cryin and so on...

I don't think so. This just wouldn't happen. People do these things for some underlining reason, and they stem from some emotion. So if you take away emotions this wouldn't happen.

Yup.. i agree on Miroku on that.. well the fact is.. almost nothing will happen.. no emotion,... lifeless.. @.@ it's all the way to nothing... we have thoughts and all but we feel nothing to it...

(reminds me of sai... a new character of Naruto Shippuuden who dont feel anything)

In my opinion.......less emotions......the better it is
Emotions always are so confusing and........wait did I mention confusing........and senseless
The only emotion that I like to express is anger and even hate.........but that is all......
Love?...............I do not think so..........
So basically.........emotions suck like hell!!!!!
