    The last feat of fandom left for me is to attend an anime convention. That is the last thing left. Once I complete that in my mind I will be true Otaku.

    wha? you don't really need to go there just for being called a true otaku. it's just a matter of knowledge and information you have on a specific anime. like me (not bragging here), i am often called a mecha otaku though i would prefer a mecha fan. i know all sorts of mecha that even mecha conversions doesn't even known yet, to them. and i haven't been to any because i already know in advance and the conventions doesn't have any that i am not familiar with even this year. i'm a bit disappointed at that.

    bottom line is, you are what you are already.
    YYYEEEEAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

    Thank you. It is good to know I can still be a true fan. But the anime expo is still a sort of holy grail for me. I think I will have to do it someday just for the experience.

    ... i have gone to every anime expo and comic con in the last five years .. maybe i am a little too into i have bright red hair too like colon from code geass lol but shorter
