How I hate to see those clothes witch are just modified 70 style clothes!!! I can't look at it! I can't put it on! Those yaky jeans that get narrower to the bottom and those hanging shirts... gosh! Fashion is really a silly thing. I put on what I think looks good and what I feel comfortable, I prefere clasical things too- not going to change my warderobe each time a homeless man starts a new fashion movement ¬.¬ gosh! Well the fashion I most liked was like... hmm... middle ages? the renesance? Those dresses thatwere really thin around your belly and had deep cuts on your chest and were really fluffy on the hips... Love that.... looks charming... For guys not though... I don't know form what time it's come but I love those things... how do you call them in English? Frakas? I don't know... or long long coats... like Antonio Banderas in "The Interview with the Vampire" I don't know what's better- we dress more comfortable now. I prefere old times all together, it seems life back then was easier. And I don't think that about people, because I do not follow fashion myself. I really hate when people have no sence in style though... you can dress however you want- just let it look pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

![]() ![]() Credits: 32,471 | Re: Fashion Icon I don't like to follow fashions. There may be a few tops that might be fashionable that I like it doesn't mean I follow everything they say. I would rather choose clothes that I like and seeing as I am a goth then as long as certain tops go with black its okay. I always hated how people who followed fashions always seem to have an arrogant feel around them. They always felt like they were superior to me because they had too much money to waste on an item of clothing that could be brought for a quarter of the price. I never really want to be categorised into the same section as those who wanted to bully others because they didn't wear the right clothes. Its not about the clothes that make a person who they are its how they wear them that shows part of who they are.

To me buying those is just a total waste of money... what good can there be besides.. higher status look? or to show off fanciness and all...whats the good in that? I rather be wearing ragged and torn old clothes than spending my money like that... Hmm i think things like trend and fashion.. things like hip hop and emo, goths..(no offence there) is just the tactic of the big companies to suck the hell out the money of parent's through their teenage child but.... i dont care if my clothes are..pirated version or original...as long as i am wearing something nice thats ok with me.. ^^

not too expensive...if you are smart enough in following in i would say... Like some people did...they say.. "Keep it simple but trendy" well it is true keeping it simple and not too... overly done would save money.. but then again..when new trend starts.. what you going to do with the old clothes.. ? you need to buy new ones too.. @.@ wasteful indeed...

I wish we all dressed up as they did in Elizabethan England, though. It was not as straight-laced as the Victorian era, but still fancy. Men dressed like gentlemen and women as ladies. Definitely better than now. Perhaps I AM old-fashioned . . . but I like it, so that makes me haute. ( Get it? Hot/haute? Oh, I slay myself.)

![]() Credits: 25,377 | Re: Fashion Icon Well, I'm not big on the everyday fashion. I do like to look stylish for special things. I like things with a bit of an old time cut/flair to them. Classics, with a bit of flair. I like the English designers best. I tend to watch what people from the British Isles are wearing, so I like the Media icons who favor the same sort of fashion I do. I like the fashion sense of Ian McKellan & Jude Law. They both mix a bit of the old feel with the new. It makes for a great look/style. However, my Mom had always followed what Elizabeth Taylor wore, because she's obsessed with her. She doesn't see Elizabeth Taylor anymore, but she does love seeing what's new with some celebrities. She likes following what Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are wearing. She like their fashion sense. Even when they dress down. Mostly they enjoy seeing the bad fashion celebrities wear. They live for fashion disasters! They learn more about what NOT to wear from many celebrities. |
