As Arriana said we don't actually care about genders here.

Well some dudes use avatar chicks to confused new members. So they think that they are talking to chicks when they are really talking to dudes. For that reason the gender option was added.

ah.. yes. we do not making a new trouble by determine the male or female users..
i feel free on talking to the other user.. haha.. maybe because ussually i do not put attention about his/her gender by look their public profile..
    haha...
like what ketaro said, some how because they use different avatar.. like gals or guys anime avatar.. i miss to recognize what gender they really are... haha..
btw, just feel free to discuss or join the discussion with us (^_^)

    Re: gender

lack of females on forums. It's common. Even Yuri forums have more males then females. Gender seperation could be hard to tell apart because the name of one character could be used for both female and male.

Which is why the symbol is kind of important but it is really not necessary. It's not like were going to meet one another, right?

AO in fact never thinks about gender, :P.

This does cause a massive confusion.
i've lost count how many times i was mistaken for the opposite gender.

But considering this is an anime forum, its a general area for both genders to take an interest, from my view, there are as many girls there are boys in this forum.

The original topic, at AO , i suppose gender is not a big deal.

    Arrianna?! a dirty joke?!

what's next, the Democratics taking over the legislative branch?

but anywho, as everyone had already said we don't care about genders here, though it would be nice that we know whether you are a male or female. The reason is because it is easier to say he or she when we are quoting you.

'Cause you give me something / That makes me scared, alright / This could be nothing / But I'm willing to give it a try / Please give me something
'Cause someday I might call you from my heart

    Re: gender

Nobody cares about gender because we all know there are only male on the intarweb. If some one claims to be female, they are guys pretending to be a girls.
