My opinion on whether we should take action is... What's the safest thing to do? If we take action, we'll have a clean planet, but to the worst we'd be risking the economy of the whole planet. If we don't take action, we definitely save money, but then, there's also the risk of endangering life on Earth itself. An opinion shared and echoed by a certain "wonderingmind" on youtube. And it's not just the AAAC or the NAS who are worried about Global Climate Change. The oil company Royal Dutch Shell call for regulation and taxes. In 2007, a "think-tank" from the United States Navy called conversations concerning the issue "sobering". Two "global security think-tanks", that aren't just made out of climatologists, have written out in a 2007 report "projections from climate models are too conservative". Golbal warming is happening like it or not the polar ice caps are melting just recently there was a huge chunk that broke off . so it is happening we should try to stop it from spreading if this happens animals will die out cause of climate change which is very bad for us to. the temperatures are changeling in some places .

we will all die no question about that. >.< but as I qoute "The human race will die. How is up to the people." Yes people are selfish and greedy they have no respect for the poeple that they are killing by doing the things that they do. THis is just what the humans are doing hey open your eyes the animals are suffering! They do not have a say in all this do they????? I bet if a deer had the inteligence that we have they would say shame on the humans (and mybe kill a few ^.^)

-Global warming is a problem and we need to stand upp and fight the ones who do not care we need to help all those who do not have in a say in all of this!
(but we also may die of a medior in 14 years)

i agree with what you are saying we need to try to stop global warming. like you said the temperatures are changing a huge chunk of ice melted of the polar ice caps

it rained for a total of 20 hours in the time from summer 2007 to summer 2008 .. so the hell global warming is a truth and i believe it ...

Try 10 years ago. It was the year of El Nino and the hotest on record in 50 years caused by a "rouge" ocean current that messed up the entire world climate. Since then temperatures have not only not increased there has been a measured drop as of this year when the world hit record lows over the winter. In fact the majority of the hottest record years in the last Century all occurred in the '30s which were followed by a Global Cooling scare.

The countries where they are having an increase in heat related deaths the deaths are caused by rolling blackouts from a lack power resulting an insufficient air conditioning in the homes of the elderly. The issue is lack of electricity not increased temperatures.

Hasn't happened since '98 and there has not been an actual increase in hurricanes in spite of what you may have been told. There has actually been a decrease based on rating but the monitoring systems have improved to the point where they register lower lever hurricanes then ever before thus increasing the number monitored.


Incidentally the most prestigious of these scientists calling "Global Warming" into question as presented by the UN include a premier NASA scientist, a Professor at Harvard, and several more Research Professors in Australia. If you are going to claim connections to "Exxon Mobil" or anyone else maybe you should take a look at who is paying the scientists who are screaming for action NOW. For that matter look at who the politicians supporting and funding them are. The most rabid supporters in the UN are on record as saying that lying about the level of the actual threat of global warming is perfectly fine as it is their best opportunity to establish global rule. (It's always easier to set precedent if you can scare the majority of the world into agreeing with you on a "non-political" topic.) Out of the mouths of.... elitists.


Nor can you actually show a tie of CO2 to rising temperatures after all since it turned out the chart used has the graphs mislabeled (opps) so that the temperature was labeled "CO2" and the CO2 was labeled temperature... as in the temperature rose before the CO2 did not the other was around. Continuing to compare continued rising CO2 emissions with currant lowering temperature are a red flag anyway. Have you considered that volcanoes spit out more CO2 in one day then all of humanity in a year when they go off? It appears that nature already has a way of neutralizing it when necessary.



The real culprit that determines our global temperatures? We don't know yet since even the UN admits that such sciences are in "their infancy" however the most recent research indicates that it is likely global water currents and circulation (and maybe solar activity as well). That makes sense though when you consider that the polar ice caps melting turned out to be from a reversal of a deep sea currant under the ice (happens every so often), that the last actual high record temperature was in '98 during El Nino, and that the current decrease in global temperatures is being blamed on La Nina another reoccurring phenomenon.

Well why are the tempartures dropping so fast now hhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaa tell me that and if the glaciers were melting the sea would be getting bigger and its not the sea level has staued the same golbal warming is not happening by man the earth has cycles k and sometimes the earth gets hot its as simple as that k.

mm i do say that its happening but it always has. just we humans are just speeding up the process. the earth has a natural tendency to get warm but by us driving more and more cars and stuff we are just adding to it. making it worse.
