My opinion I really don't think it's fun not to have someone to talk to. You always need someone there to be there for you, and when you go on to the after-life no one will remember you, and that's the most sadess thing ever. I hope you find someone to be with you instead of being alone.

it all depends on the situation. if you are feeling depressed or angry, then being alone for a bit may be the best thing for you.

however if you are happy and bubbly, then i suggest going to do something with your friends.

Well, i'm mostly ok with being with no friends, I'm not a party animal, I prefer to stay at home and relax, study and so on... Therefore I can surely say it is not bad if you don't have many friends, although it is nice if you have at least one person (online? through texts? real life? doesn't matter) with whom you can talk when you feel down or are really bored :P People need a person to consult when they get slightly mad...

However I spend a lot of time with my family, I eat with them, talk with them and so one. But sometimes i realy want to stay alone and it doesn't really bother me if they are not around (appart form the fact that I hate cooking and am left with only pizza, jam sandwitches and tea). I don't think I could live without them though ^^ but it might be just because I'm so used to them. to you it might be different ^^

I know one person who I deffinetely need- my bf. If I have one, I become addicted to him... I need him around at all times. But it's only if I have one... And actually I'm ok when I don't (although I ussually get one real fast >.<).

Well then shortly, I won't say being alone is bad... as long as there is that one person to whom you can talk at all times, when you need to talk (so you don't go insane).

Is it good to be alone? Sometimes. Not all the time. It's good to be alone when you absolutely need to concentrate to think things through, but it's never a good idea to keep yourself in isolation for extended periods of time. Deny it as much as you want, but there's this deep-seated, characteristically human need to relate to others in positive ways.

But then again, you're not alone right now in the strictest sense -- hey, you have us!
