Thread: Halloween season approaching.

I watch TV specials on the true meaning about Halloween actually. Last year i watched a report on a Satanist group that kidnaps little children to later kill and offer their virgin blood to Satan. I also watch classic Halloween horror movies such as Friday 13th, Pumpkin Head, and whatever movie the Scifi channels has to offer on Halloween.

Well seeing as the fun day of the year is vast approaching, I thought it would be appropriate to make a thread about one of the most memorable movies of the season. Yes to fellow Tim Burton Fans, its none other than Nightmare Before Christmas.

Ok I know the movie is old for some and probably not a halloween movie but for some, Like me who loves to listen to soundtrack around this time of year and watch the movie on halloween. Its probably one of the many gothic movies that show one of the greatest days of they year.

So how many people watch N.B.C around this time of year or any other type of gothic movies around this time of year???

There is nothing better than going with a bunch of friends deep into the woods with naught but one flashlight and telling ghost stories in the night on Hallowe'en.

That sounds very interesting. Have your circle of friends tried going to the cemetery instead of the woods. It is more fun telling ghost stories in a cemetery.

Oh that movie, it brings back memories actually.
I still have mine on vhs and whatnot, this was Tim Burton at his best along with Edward Scissorhands.

I asked for the special edition of the N.B.C for Christmas two years ago and play it when ever as its one of my faves created by Tim Burton.

As for me, I have never really celebrated Halloween so as my family are Christian, I wasn't allowed to go trick or treating. Well untill last year when i spent all afternoon one my own at home listening to the soundtrack of N.B.C the 2006 edition. However, this year I want to spend it in a different way but I am still unsure what to do.

Well Sazzy, maybe if you think you want to, for the hell of it, go trick or treating. I still do xD;;
That's if you don't live with your parents though.

I'm going to open my vhs box once more for good times sake this year.
Haven't watched in a long while so maybe it wouldn't hurt to do it this year.
I really do miss watching it with all of my family though =(

I LOVE watching The nightmare before christmas. It doesn't scare me! xD [I'm a wuss :P] plus the songs are really great to listen to over and over and over again. ^_^;
