![]() ![]() ![]() Credits: 17,564 | Handling change with plastic gloves Has anyone seen such a stupid thing? You're at a food joint ordering your meal and the preparer handles the food and all with plastic gloves. Cool... nothing like a bit of hygiene I think. But then when it's time to pay, sure enough, that same food handler accepts your filthy money in her plastic supposingly sterile gloves. I mean, whatt the? Baffles me. ![]()

![]() ![]() Credits: 34,783 | Re: Handling change with plastic gloves I suppose sometimes like Dark Chalise said that they are not really thinking about what they doing. Of course they could really create a more strict policy on handling money after preparing food. But i suppose mose people just realise how dirty change can be. i for one hate the small after handling change...*shivers*

![]() Lady Barronmore | Re: Handling change with plastic gloves Simple. They are supposed to either discard the gloves after handling money, or if they don't use gloves wash their hands after handling money. The stuff is filthy. However, not everyone follows regulations and when there's a rush they just don't worry about it. |

Diamond in the Rough | Re: Handling change with plastic gloves To be honest I've never seen this. Everywhere I've eaten/worked they've had designated cashiers and cooks.

![]() ![]() Credits: 37,162 | Re: Handling change with plastic gloves Ok, Dragonball, If you've ever handled cash for a job at all in your life, you'd know that Money is quite possibly the most Dirtiest thing you could ever touch. Not only is handling cash with plastic gloves smart, its actually healthier then handling it with your hands. For example: Humans on average touch their faces 5 to 10 times every 3 or 5 minutes. You're working cash at a resturant/gas station/video store/hell anything, and you get cash from a particularly grubby individual who pulls out a wadded up dirty 5-er and hands it too you. see what I mean. Its not stupid. Its pretty damn smart. I personally work in a Resturant. We wash our hands once every our, or when we do anything that involves cleaning, handling cash then switching jobs, using the Loo, after a break, ect ect ect... you have nothing to fear about the person handing you your burger and fries. Also, this is for you cashiers out there. You have the RIGHT to refuse any form of currancy. I've actually been handed a 10 dollar bill that was covered in dried blood, I just said "I'm not touching that", they then called over my manager who then said "Even I'm not touching that" PS, didn't mean for that to sound rude... ![]()
