Re: has anyone else noticed
Sugars and calories both occur naturally in fruit. There's no such thing as a sugar-free orange (nor are there any natural "calorie-free" foods... unless you consider ice a "food"): thus, there's no such thing as a "sugar free" orange juice. "Calorie-free" sweeteners are about as far from "natural" as you can get (and currently suspect in a wide range of health issues).
That said, "all-natural" juices tend to be from concentrate with added sweeteners and flavorings. That's because plain squeezed fruits are sour, expensive, and don't keep on store shelves very long without additives to preserve them.
If you want all-natural juices: you'll have to squeeze them yourself.
As long as the ingredients of an additive or flavoring occur in nature, the "all-natural" label still works... though it is often deceptive.

Ice is food!!!
Most health food is just called that because it's just healthier than most foods. But, it still has carbs, calories and sugar. Like Tsurara said, if you really want that 'all-natural' fresh taste, you'd have to squeeze the fruit yourself.
You'd actually be better off eating rice cakes and drinking water, if you're looking for food with the least amount of sugars, calories and carbs. But then it's like eating souless food--counterfeit food. LOL.
Re: has anyone else noticed
I really don't find colorings necesary. I really don't care how my organic juice looks, even if it looks like sh*t.
But I really have noticed that health food really can be unhealthier than simple food. For example, you should check how much less your "light" or "diet" yogurt has sugar in it or calories. You might be really surprised. Sometimes the difference is so very little... I really don't think it is neccesary... The main thing is just not to eat too much. Everything else doesn't mater- the main thing is that you like it. As we in our family say: "Everything tasty is harmful. Actually living is harmful- you die from it." and "You have to die from something. (let it be such a good thing as ice cream)"
Nope, I never read labels, I don't care I just eat what I like, it has never done any harm to me :D: I think worrying about it all will only make it all worse and even gain me some weight

has anyone else realized how unhealthy health food really is? [in some cases]
ever read the sugar contents or fat contents of natural/organic food?
i may be a complete dork.. but just wondered if anyone else had seen this
Nop!! you not being a complete dork at all!!
that is a fact!! that's the reason why we cant eat health food all time(in some cases) coz it might cause some kind of illness! (but it's still health food right??
Re: has anyone else noticed
Actually, I think, that we don't eat health food all the time for the reason that if your body keeps reiceving the same amount of calories. I heard somewhere, but what happens is that your body does somethings that instead of losing calories, since its the same amount it kind of 'catchs up' and you start gaining weight. I think, now I do not know if this is a fact but I heard it somewhere a long time ago.
Re: has anyone else noticed
False advertising at it's best.
There are really no laws from protecting people against it either (I don't think so any way..) meaning companies can slap whatever they want on a product to make it look good.
The only way to go around it, is read everything on the labels before you buy it ( which is what I do..on most things..drives my family crazy XD) or (like Tsurara mentioned) just buy more fresh food, which is yummier imo
LOL the recent dodgy labeling I saw was on Ice Tea. It was advertise as being 'the healthy alternative to soft drinks' yet when I looked at the back it had 'tea extract' not tea, and when compared to soft drink, it had around the same amount of sugar in it...I still drink it all the same...same with other junk food.. i just make sure that I don't drink it that often..it's still yummy XDXD
Re: has anyone else noticed
i have noticed that and i kinda thought that was weird.lol.
i kinda did have the same impression that all "all natural foods" were supposed to have no calories or suger. so yea. lol
