Well I was in the shop today and told someone I had good news. They asked me what it was and I told them that I got some hate mai from a white supremacist. They asked me how can this be a good thing, and I explained it in terms of expectations. It would set me off a little more if I got a love letter from a white supremacist then hate mail. Hate mail is sort of the norm. Think if the Aryan brotherhood put to gether a swimsuit calendar and of there finest men and left it at your doorstep. Imagine the character from the show arrested development, white power Bill, dressed in a speedo flexing, oh bad visual. That would truly be more than i could bear. And for god sake I have seen IEDs and Severed Limbs.
in all seriousness though if this has happened to you please give your opinion and how you handled it. With humor of activism.

Spam filters work great. But there is a lot of stupid on the internet and filters can only do so much. By the way the internet is a great tool, but as with any tool it can also be used for destruction.
Hate mail is soooo much fun to read. How one deals with hate is more telling than how they deal with love. It is good to have enemies. At least you know who to direct your negativity towards. If all else fails........
