yes, i have been rickrolled. it helped that i like the song. but it was a big let down because i was looking for info on a game i like.

however, i must say my favorite page of a comic i love used a rickroll of sorts as a joke.

The different is so simple. You get deceived when someone lies to you by being dishonest. You get rickrolled when someone is doing it for the sake of lulz and unfortunately you are that source of lulz.

,i wasn't sure about it because no one responded to the rickrolling i mentioned i nthe previous page ,i guess it was too harsh though i didn't mention the real bad parts

Yeah, i noticed no one responded to what you mentioned. You see rickrolling is the art of cowlulzing people, to many rickrolling is like trolling, but its not. Its just another way to get some lulzy lulz out of new internet users, mostly from old people and kids that go to networking websites.

That's even better when they don't know what's going on. However, its even lulzier when you rickroll someone that has been an internet user for a very long time.

But still i can't get it .. how can people not feel guilty about decieving others let alone rickrolling them

.. i mean i still feel very guilty about not telling my friend about that rickrolling my other friends cooked ... i can't even imagine myself doing that!! T_T

You feel guilty because you don't do it for the lulz, you just do it for fun. To put it in simple words, you feel guilty because you think what you are doing is both wrong and funny, so their is a clash between the two. However, when you do it for the lulz you know what you are doing is lulzy and funny, so there is no remorse whatsoever.

I half agree ,since the "source of the lulz" can be hurt because of it ,it'd be wrong and because it is wrong it brings the "guilty" feeling and especially if it was a heavy rickrolling ... but very nice and intelligent way of putting it you got there!
