    I agree...
Protein shakes are great if you want to lose a LOT of weight, or if you are a pro athlete. Your best bet is to eat a well balanced, healthy meals and exercist regularly.
I used protein shakes to lose weight, substituting breakfast with a shake. ((I lost over 75 pounds!) ^_^

I'm thinking that the old fashion way is best as long as you don't strain yourself and eat healthy. But I guess the shake would give you the boost you ight need. Why don't you try both.

Our love will go on until the end of time. I will always be yours and you will be mine.

I fully agree with not straining yourself. A lot of people make the mistake of just diving right into a diet or excersie regimine. You can actually hurt yourself pretty bad or get sick.
When I started my diet/exercise, I had to slowly adjust myself to the lifestyle change. ^_^ And even doing that, my body was so used to junk food and too much grease and such that I felt tired and slow.

Yes, cutting back on sugar and fat is a good way to go.
A lot of times, people make the mistake of eliminating certain things from your diet. (i.e. The no carb craze) Your body needs a certain amount of carbs, sugars, and fats. You just have to eat a balanced diet.
Good sugars are in fruits and some veggies, and healthy portions of breads have the carbs you need. ^_^

i got this kind of class, many people die from drugs and alcohol and car wrecks, mostly i just cosider the car wreck, because if you don't wear your seatbelt then eventually you go flying out of a suburban or a truck and land dead near the road......................and get good health

You can get all the nutrition and vitamins from eating a proper diet.

Vitamin supplements and protein shakes are only good for serious body building and for quicker results.
And the reason we were talking about protein shakes{not supplements because we can't take pills. Can't swallon them.XD}Is that the shakes just give you the proteins not any other crab.XD

As for workouts, it's best to be balanced (as some guys love to just benchpress, dunno who they trying to impress but they often end up looking like freaks). Check out Men's Health website, as they often have tips on how to weight train and with what amount of weight. It is also important to work out your heart too, and playing Basketball is a good combo of excercise and heart training. Once again I have to refer to my freak friend who only benchpresses and not do the treadmill, he did that and right now he can barely go up and down the court without him gasping.
Could you please put the link for me??Thanks

And in my case.I start when ever I hit the gym{unless I am just going to be there for an hour.Which I do that only on saturday because I got work 9-8}I hit the treadmill for 1 hour to 2 hours and don't stop until the time it is up and then i get my water and go hit the willbreak or sometimes i will rest for 5-15minutes and then go do some chest things.I haven't do any beachpress, because my max use to be 200lb but now it is a sorry of 130lb.XD.And I haven't work out for just 5months at least. After I took this year off football.I still run on my neigbors treadmill but came on it took my like one years to get that max and now i can't barely left 130lb.XDOne word still in shape.Even once a month will help.Hopefully.

XD.Here is something I know. Carbs and Proteins give you 4 calaries and fats give you 9 calaries.{That is for every gram}Reason why if you eat things mostly made out of fats you gain more weight.Everything has calaries , only water doesn't for some reason that can be explain but it is to long.XD

yea i completely agree with u there, there is no point in working out just one part of ur body. and i also recommend swimming that gives u a great work out all over in one go.
I do swimming every now and then.

    Re: Health

I seriously prefer the old fashion way with a balance diet and exercise because one,it is not money wasting though it can be time consuming. Two,protein shakes are for body builders and maybe for reducing your weight. Finally,i rather gain strength the hard way and not through things that may boost your body, because it can help me against the hardest of all obstacles.
