Who else here--in the US--is tired of having to sit through 100 political commercials a day? I'm so damn tired of seeing/hearing, "What's-his-face voted yes/no for this," or "So-and-so hates puppies," then there's the classic, "You'll pay more taxes!"
Every four years, it's the same ol' garbage. I feel like if you don't watch commercials, you're stealing television (much like Homer Simpson). However, I'll steal TV, if it means I can watch it without hearing some goofy looking politician's repetitive phrases. "I'm atomik_sprout and I approve this discussion." WTF?
Who wants thier TV back? Who's ready for Tuesday to be done and over with?

Makes me glad that Canada only has 30 days for politions to have thier election campaigns, then we vote, and its all over, and the next leader takes power the next day.
I have no Idea why the American people stand for the government wasting your time with an almost 2 year election campaign. It makes no sence to me.
But I agree with Atomic, even though we are for different parties, I WANT MY TV BACK!! *At last bie-partison ship ends as Reps and Dems come together to fight for the right and our freedom for watching TV.*
"MY DEAR... I GIVE YOU THE CAPELLAN CONFEDERATION"AND THUS THE WAR WAS STARTED NOT BY GUN SHOT BUT BY WEDDING BELLS
i hate tv and watch as little of it as possible, and so i agree, these commericals are annoying and down right stupid. Im glad elections are tomorrow so this will stop and i dont have to kill my tv
..........nothing is true, everything is permitted..........
While i think they are annoying, i feel they are necessary. All's fair in love and war. Slanderous claims and guilt trips are often the best way to gain votes.
I also treat them like regular commercials. If it's one i enjoy, i'll pay attention to it, but if it isnt, i will let it slide while i patiently wait for my show to come back on.
Why hello there!
The commercials help me know where people stand so I am a little more informed on voting. I don't mind election week since I like the Saturday Night Live impressions of the candidates on their funny skits. I thought Tina Fey's impression of Sarah Palin was hilarious. I like Will Ferrel's George W. Bush. It shows such "passionativity".
I like the way Canada does it, 30 days and that's it! awesome! it is time ofr us to follow that! it does not make any sense to have 2 freaking years of campaign! the more campaign you do, the more the ppl get tired of listen and looking at you... I don't know but I am freaking tired of seeing the candidates... let it be tuesday now... and get this over with... oh! but the tv cmpaigns are not over! after the elections, I bet whatever that the ccandidates for 2012 are going to be using the TV from NOW to make themselves known... lovely isn't?
Nothing less from Pyro ^_^ Great Sig ^_^ THANK YOU!!!!"show me.... THE BEAST!!!" The Beauty and the Beast movie
I WANT MY TV BACK!!!
Including my online TV. I can't even watch TV online without getting hit with embedded commercials for Obama. Dude! I watch online so I don't have to deal with the crap commercials INCLUDING political ads. I know the issues, you're not even telling me anything besides "vote for me".
Just GO AWAY already!
