Thread: if "love" is the answer, what is the question?

My question is Is love worth the pain? I say yes, but life is filled with obstales so why shouldn't love? It's has to have check and balances in order to make it work.

Personally, I don't think you ever know... Love's something that no matter how hard anybody tries, can never be defined. When you love someone, you live for them, and would die for them... Though we go through life chopping and changing the people on our 'love list' over and over again.
Perhaps the purpose (or one of the purposes) of life, is to love continually and be loved in return- Until you find the one person that was meant for you. I also don't think age is an issue in when you find true love, You may disagree, but I don't think it matters if you're 10 or 100! Nobody really knows what true love is, or even if it truly exists... But why not enjoy the feeling while we can? ^^

My question to your answer is...

Why are we alive?

Without love the world would die... at least it would as far as humanity is concerned. Eveyone alive boy or girl young or old wants to be loved in one way or another and it's only when people begin to understand the selfless nature of true love that they begin to notice the human potential.
Some call it a miraculous. I call it love.

Isn't this just putting "What is love?" in other words?

Anyways... "Love" can be an answer to very many questions. From the simplest like: "Why don't you go to sleep?" To the most complicated like: "Why should I live?"

Yes, it can be an answer to very many questions about bad feelings, but, when you find that it's love to blame? Don't you feel just a little bit better? I ussually do, because I think it's worth it ^^ (since "love" is also an answer to "Why am I here" (to me at least))

My answer to your question would be... How to treat others like family?

love can make you happy .... love can make you sad ..... love can make you unbreakable ..... love like puff .... love is breath of life ..... love like the sound of bird in the morning ..... when you in love you will do anything for your love and you will sacrifice for it ..... and that worth it =^_^=

well, there is a slight difference... if you say that it's as simple as the question "What is love?" you might be overlooking the fact that you might just be defining it based on your own senses...

i believe that when you ask it this way; "if love is the answer, what is the question?" it evokes more of your thinking into a single statement that may incur more than one anser depending on the person... but to you the answer would be love... it shows how important love is to you dur to whether or not it is your primary answer tothe uesiton of not...

it packs everything in... in a single quoted question.
