Ooh this is a hard one...
The Firetruck ambulance and police patrol car all have them Sirens...mailman..
nope...
so mailman is left beside...

Firetruck saves lives + put down fire
Police saves Lives + chase bad person
Ambulance saves lives
ambulance only have one so put that aside...

Fire Truck Puts of fire
Police Chase Bad person,... both with a priority mission but fire spread faster
and bad person can be tracked down slowly by sattelite and stuffs...
so Fire Truck goes first ^^

The mail man actually would have the right of way in this case seeing how it is a federal vehicle and employee whereas the others are all city, county, or privatly owned.

What? the mail man? It only deliver messages and stuff...why would make it a priority for it to go first...?

I say the firetruck, simply because I've seen ambulances give way to firetrucks on the road. It could be because a firetruck is generally a lot bigger than an ambulance, and even if you're a paramedic who's got an emergency you don't want to try to deny a much bigger vehicle its right of way, especially if its hurrying towards an emergency too.

Also, not all bad men can be tracked via satellite. If you're a cop hot on the heels of a some guy who just mugged two old ladies 5 minutes ago you wouldn't have them on radar (that is, IF the policecar even has a radar). And the police is no good at saving lives, just defending them. I haven't seen too many cops who can do a paramedic's job better than the actual paramedic.

I voted for the mail man because he is the most illogical choice, thus it has to be him

well first off the mailman doesn't have the ability to run red lights or do any of the stuff the other can do so they must obey all the regular traffic laws. A police officer has to give right of way to the paramedics because saving lives is the main priority. Its a toss up between the paramedics and the firemen. But if you think about it the concept of them being 2 way streets was not specified so if you take that into consideration we can actually say they can go around each other without having to give each other the right of way. I have no answer.

Which takes you back to my answer. I ruled out the mailmen and the policemen for pretty much the same reasons you did, and after it came down to the paramedics and the fire-fighters I had to pick the fellows with the more threatening ride.
