After careful consideration, I must agree with Chubz...the crazed mailman has the right of way. Hell, would you want to get in his way?
The mailman would go first:
Y'see, after a rough couple of years delivering the mail, the mailman would have snapped and gone postal and shot up his workplace and then taken off in the post-office van. The police would be called to the scene, same with the paramedics, and an A.P.V would be sent out looking for the driver of a speeding van.
But not one to take things lightly or forgive easily, the mailman had planned his escape route carefully and driven to his ex-girlfriends house to burn it down because she had cheated on him with his best friend. As such, the firemen would be dispatched to a suspicious house fire.
At the same time, the ambulance that arrived at the original scene would now be driving a wounded co-worker to the hospital, while police are still searching for the mailman, and the fire-truck is on its way to the fire.
As luck would have it, all four meet up at the intersection, but, as the mailman has already committed a growing number of crimes, the last thing he worries about is a stop sign, and seeing the police he hammers the gas pedal even more and just blows through the intersection.
SO, clearly the mailman goes first.
Many Thanks To SasuraiHell For The Sig!
seeing as its a 4 way intersection
and all 4 vehicles are going different directions
then its not a matter of which ONE goes first but which TWO
because north and south lanes while passing each other are on different sides of the road and will not crash ... same goes for east and west
so then it depends where in the intersection they are placed and if it just so happens that the fire truck and ambulance are heading in opposite directions then I say they should go first
because they are only out on the road when there is an emergency
Ambulance, of course... my borther's a mailman, and so... just no. Cops generally just give out tickets and occasionally arrest people for being drunk, so... there's a much bigger chance of them having a smaller emergency than the firetruck or ambulance. The fire could always be combatted by a garden hose for a second... lol... so... yeah...
ambulance can only save minor lives a few maybe fireman could save more to my opinion...
and i think kimi might be right...but who knows she could be wrong too
he said in 24 hours where is he?
Nothing less from Pyro ^_^ Great Sig ^_^ THANK YOU!!!!"show me.... THE BEAST!!!" The Beauty and the Beast movie
Lol what chubz said might be true,...and that would be funny...
but still i will be rooting for the Firetruck
When i started this thread i was going on the info a friend said happened to him when he took the DMV test for his license.(he is currently 40-50 years old) He got it wrong saying it was the fire truck. According to him the correct one would be the mail man because he is federalthus superseding state agencies. This dosnt sound true so i did a little searching and found this web sight Urban Legends Reference Pages: Four Play. which states that it not the mailman It dosnt actually say who goes first but its all i could find beyond the statute in California that says all traffic must yield the way to emergency services (something along those lines i forgot the exact phasing) witch also sounds similar to what i learned for NY. The article dose say that the vehicle to the left of the mail man would go first but now why the left from the mail man. As for me i chose the police man. Because 7 out of 10 emergences (especially in metropolitan areas) the first priority would be to secure the sight so that the criminals dont get away or so the other two could work without work in as fast a manner as humanly possible without outside interference.
