I have French and Spanish clubs at my school but I want to learn Japanese
I'm learing a total of 4 languages right now. Spanish, French, Japanese and Sign Language. They take a good portion of my time and energy but the results are very rewarding. When I went to Atlanta for a vacation with my family I met a Spanish woman looking for her son and was able to help her because I was learning the language. That have me a true swell of pride to be able to help someone. But you are right it will get rusty if you don't use it often enough. But just incorporating some phrase into your everyday language will keep you sharp. It also helps if you have someone who is learing with you so that they can help you when they see you falling off.

I think learning a language is easy if english is your second language
I always wished English was my second language because it's the easiest to learn in my opinion.
I want to learn Japanese, but I don't really have time to do that. I have learn Malay before, and the result isn't that good, learning a language need to start from young, especially when you are a baby, as baby learn things with the fastest speed..
I think it just deppends on weather you care enough to retain the language. Cause for me I 'm learing Spanish and It's easy for me becaouse well I like it and I dont really study I just goover it once a night and thats it. So it depends on the person for one and if you really want to retain it.
