Thread: Is love worth the pain

Well it might be too hard to be just friends... If it's not... You won't be hurt again if you don't let it to happen. You just must understand whether you can view just as a friend or not...

Such a good question, "Is love worth the pain?" Hmm...

I've been asking myself the same question over and over again for the last 12 months now. Ugh... I won't go in to detail (as I'm sure a few of you here know my situation completely), but I will say that I know how you feel. I've been waiting for someone as well, stupid as I may look to others.

She still loves me, and I still love her, yet she's got a BF. I've been told the same things you have, "Move around," "Kick rocks," "Find someone new!" And I could say the same to you. But, I know that sometimes, love is worth the wait and it is DEFINITELY worth the pain. Because, if you obtain what you're after, you'll be happier than most folk. Even though my love is with someone else, I know she loves me, she's on vacation and calling ME every chance she gets, not him. So I know my time is due soon. And if you try hard enough, if you have the patience, yours will be too.

Quick question: Did you ever TELL her you have feelings for her? Or, did you just tell her how you think her avoidance of you was wrong? If she doesn't know how you feel, then there's no point in pursuing her--especially if she's got two boyfriends.

Wow! man that sure is tough pain you dealing with. Well, if she doesn't care about you then just leave her and find love somewhere else. Its not like she is the only girl in the world. I know its tough, but that's the only choice you are left with.

Donno what to tell you... I was in such situation... I LIKED her (so that makes it a little easy for me), anyway... she felt nothing for me... and yet she liked my poetries... we did the mistake of forming a couple... it was awful ... we got separated in two weeks... she's not worth it man... remain her friend but not the same friend... don't let her use you... be one of her usual friends... and she'll see the diff... I'm not saying she'll start loving you... but she'll learn her lesson (and if not... then she's a B!TCH and someone should put her out of her misery)

And love is worth all the pain in the world if the person you love loves you back... I had such a relation... i still love her... more than I love life, but she said she doesn't feel the same for me... and she would feel like betraing me if we stayed together... hurts like hell... but I lick my wounds in silence...


anyway... this was your story... I had a friend like her... she used a guy and fell for another friend of mine... and she was like "I can't live without O" ...and her best friend was down... he told her what he felt and she waved him away... and then tried to make me her new pet... but I had my problems and I told her to stop telling me her problems... we got to a point when we only say "Hi" but it doesn't bother me... you should do the same...

sorry to say this but the girl is probably a nympho... if she got the taste of you she would probably move from the three of you like ball on a tennis court...

I'll take a crack at this. You may not want to but you need to let go. You're getting hurt more and more because of this and love isn't supposed to be like that. Even though love isn't perfect and often difficult that doesn't mean that she should constantly leave yourself open to be hurt again and again. You have to draw the line before it gets any more out of hand.

Well i have heard a quote that said its better to have loved than never loved at all.

That quote there says a lot of things for this topic, being love is taking a chance, a chance at being hurt by the one you love.

Remind me of my brother.....hmmm well i think it is worth it.Hey i have had the same happenm to me tons of time....but no matter what they do to i still love them.I can't help it.even if it hurts so much, i can't show it,and not like anyone notices.If you can love that person with all your heart and they hurt you don't go hate them and everythin cause that means that you really didn't love them.if that one thing,them not loving you,then you didn't truely love them. Were you to die for this person.Would you give anything for this person?thats what you have to ask yourself....
