Some of you may have herad that one of the Charles manson conspirators has been released. I want to make sure that you all understand Fromme was not arrested for killing someone she was released on unrelated charges. But other member of the The Family (what manson called his gand) are still in jail and have been denied parole. I was wondering what you thoughts are on that.
Some people have suggested that various conspirators be released. Suzy Atkins is one. The arguement is that without Manson they are a threat. Personally I think that as a group those people are dangerous and given over to mania and fanatacism, and that doesn't change just because your "Leader" is in prison.

Yes I agree they are still dangerest even without their leader they should not let people like that out .

They should all rot in jail. Really. I can't believe Manson is still alive, even.
If they were so easily manipulated and brainwashed, then what's to say they won't try something else? Manson is a maniac. There is no point in anything he has said or brainwashed others to do for him. And his little followers are even more insane for going along with him.
I think it's creepy and strange. Harmless? Yeah. Without their leader they are all pretty harmless: Tell that to Sharon Tate and her unborn child. I know the one being released was in on other charges, yes, but... Still... Just as crazy as the rest of them.

I agree completely. These people just have a bizarre personality that gave themselves over to this sort of behavior. In prison it doesn't matter but if set free God only knows what weird nut could get there claws into them.Originally Posted by Spike'sRose
Indeed... They are all still completely loyal to Manson... And I'm sure the one being released is capable of doing something on his behalf, whether or not he were able to tell her to.
I'm not sure anyone else could get to her the way Manson did... But hey, when someone is not mentally stable, then... Who's to say?
