    dont watch that show and think you can just do it automatically by watching the sow, but yes, i know pancreation looks kinda interesting...

    as for me, i took karate and am currently struggling to learn a few kendo skills, along with even more struggling of learning ninjutsu, particularly shirukenjutsu. i have to learn off my friend, as there is no teacher anywhere around anymore....

    Re: Martial Arts and You

    every one must have taken some sort of martial arts training in their life,
    granted I did a bit of karate (Goju Ryu, to be exact)but it is used for self-defence only, I would never try to harm someone intentinaly.
    would any of you agree?

    Martial Arts = Self defence in my opinion. Anything else and your a thug, which goes against the traditions of the Art.

    Well I do Kung Fu, Ju Jitsu and Tai Chi and Gung Fu if you want somthing new I'd suggest one of those four even though Tai Chi is part of Kung Fu there all great arts, and if not that try Free Running if you can't do that try Parkour. (yes there is a difference)

    Re: Martial Arts and You

    I most certainly took martial arts for self defense.
    I've actually had to use it where I am living, too.
    Thankfully, no one messes with me now. >.<;;
    But, I also took it to get into shape - Physically and Emotionally. ^_^

    You and your teacher are very strange men Kenshin very strange. Anyway the the style is probably in front of the school window and he's just messing with you.

    Hmmm. I tried karate for a bit got 2 brown belt or somethin. But i don jus wasn't for me i was mainly doin it for the fitness aspect an wheni started break dancin i didn't need karate anymore.
    As for when it come to fightin i rely more on experience rather than what i learnt in karate. works for me
