Whats the most amazing thing that you have ever found? Id like to do it but Im the kind of person that would get arrested for trespassing as I wouldnt know I was on someones field or something dumb like that lol!

You won't be treaspassing if ask for permission, and may be in some countries treasure is not allowed but if not on land than underwater metal detecting. MMost people go metal detecting on beaches and some prospecting. there are some places that let's prospect for your own gold or gemstones most city parks allow metal detecting and if go by guide line in to recover a target but digging the right way.
1 is cut a horse shoes shape in the ground and flip open sod of grass
and flip back the sod in to place.
you can use a coin probe to find burried after you detected it and you pop out the coin.
