Lets face it most people have routines they follow in the morning before work, play, etc, whether it is newspaper, news on TV, cup of coffee or my case, pushups and situps. These things keep us regular and help us get through the day, so AO, what are your Morning Routines?



I have a ritual called 'terminator'. I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Well, first i curse the alarm clock. I take a quick shower, cold water at first to wake myself up. Then i get dressed while watching early morning cartoons. Then i go downstairs and have a bowl of cereal, watch more tv, then leave. It's been my school routine up until i graduated.

I don't think I really have a morning ritual. The most thing I think I do often is just really plan out my day and that's about it. I mean, I do regular stuff like eat breakfast and get ready. But that's just regular I think.

Well I dont really have morning rituals during the summer. But during school I wake up at 5:30 sometimes if I am feeling really tired I wait until 6:30 to get up.....I take a shower if I didnt take a shower the night before.....then I get dressed....do my hair......brush my teeth and then put on my shoes wake up my sister inbetween all those things and leave the house and walk to school.....I eat breakfast there usually cereal.

i dont think i really have one tbh i get up at 7 or 6.30 am to wash and put on my make up and do my hair and all for school and get my mp3 player and make somthing to eat or somthing and then go to the bus stop and sleep on the bus ( when i know im safe LOL)

mine is the same no matter what....

set the alarm an half an hour early just so i can hit the snooz button a few times, the cleansing process, put on clothes and run to the first destination

hmm... morning habits is more my style. since it's summer, i usually set the alarm for like 8:00am but end up ACTUALLY getting up anywhere between 9am and 12pm... then i roll out of bed (or out of my futon since family is visiting... guess who gets to sleep on the living room floor!) and try to find clean clothes... then i wash my face with Nogzema (it works the best for my face) and brush my teeth. then if no rides can be given, i walk the block or two to the bus to my Darling's house.

there are tiny bits and pieces that happen throughout at random times, like petting my kitty (Tybalt), getting something out of Boss's mouth (he's our puppy!), going to the bathroom, and going outside to see how Boy (our big doggie~!) is doing or to take away the empty water bowl that he insists on banging across the wall....

Morning rituals hey, hmm never thought about them before.

I guess my main morning ritual is that every morning regardless if i had a shower or i don't need one. I always go straight to the shower the second i get up. If there someone in there, i just stay in bed until it's free. I honestly can't do anything without having a shower first. I wont even eat breakfast or do anything else without my 10min shower and it has to be a steamy hot shower at that as well.

Other than that, if i'm going to have breakfast, it always has to be Weetbix with a hot milo for a drink. But i tend to just have Weetbix cold during summer and in winter i just heat it up in a micro. If i eat anything else, it kinda makes me feel a little ill.

Then the rest of the morning is just rushing to get everything else together. I don't know why but i always seem to misplace my wallent or mobile almost every morning without fail. But i always know where my keys are, strange hey?

Wow, all of these seem like really dull answers. I certainly hope that the rest of your days doesn't seem as dull as this.
