Re: The Most Amazing Place You've Ever Been
Two places that I've been that absolutely take my breath away are; Honolulu, Hawaii; USA and Korat, Thailand.
OMG! Hawaii is AWESOME!! I lived there for a year, and did more things within that time than most people do in thier lifetimes! I cliff dived like all the time, learned to surf, went to TONS of raves (there was one every two days most weeks), rode on a couple of booze cruises (huge boats! ^_^), walked along every beach and through Sacred Falls (which is one of the most beautiful spots in HI), and even got stuck in a burning monorail once! LOL. There was one time during Christmas season that they brought a snow machine to Downtown Waikiki. About a city block was covered in "snow", and half the people around had never seen snow in thier lives! I--being a Minnesotan--jumped right in, yelling "Snowball fight!!" and pelting snow noobs! LOL.
Korat was cool too! Lots of ruins, lots of rice paddys and TONS of bars! ^_^ I stayed there for like 45 days and did nothing but work, drink and flirt with resturaunt owners, LOL. I went there during monsoon season, so when it rained, it friggin' POURED! It was mad fun! ^_^ I played soccer every day with the locals and even got to see a kickboxing tournament! It was great! The only bad thing was that we had to use outhouses (stinky!!) and the air smelled funny (like a land fill). But other than that, it was cool as hell!

Ummm... Our Vacation House in the Philippines.
Never knew we had one. It's near on the beach and it's just romantic.
I miss that place.

Try to be more specific. Are there any particular places you are fond of?

Of all the places you've ever been, which was the most spectacular? The most touching?
What places do you think the rest of us should see at least once in our lifetimes?
Most amazing had to be Hong Kong. The place is crowded but its still a great place. And it was also touching because my sister lives there along with my neice and two nephews.
I'd have to say, go visit the mountains. Any mountains in the US or otherwise. It is an enlightening experience and relaxing too.
