Im Suffering

the convent i'm going to is uppcon 10. it's in sweden in case someone wanted to know. i really do want go, but i feel so scared and excited it's my first time at a convent. you know what scares me most sharing a room with people i don't know at uppcon!

so i was wondering how was your first convent?

Any ways, here's some tips:

1. WEAR DEODORANT! Cons can get pretty hot, and I'm sure you don't want to end up smelling of BO. Oh, and you WILL run into someone who hasn't bathed in a few days, but its the risk you take going to a convention.

2. Bring money. Lots of it. There's going to be things that you can get at a con that you either can't get anywhere else, or are extremely hard to get outside of a Con.

3. Bring your own food and water, especially water. Drinks and food are expensive at cons, so be prepared.

4. Bring bags and things to carry your loot home, the bags they have at cons often aren't very good and will rip or tear easily.

Another tip.

Cons usually give out movie posters. If you really want posters, bring a poster tube or box to carry them in. They usually won't give you a rubberband or anything of the sort to wrap your posters up with.

Just a suggestion.

Also, if your planning to cosplay, bring extra clothes incase you get bored of your costume or your pants rip.

My pants ripped the minute I stepped out of the car last Friday (11/03). Luckily I brought extra dress pants.

I've never been to any sort of convention not even a concert, good for you! ^^

Make sure to take lots of pictures for us to see, that places is gonna be crowded to the ceilings.

I was @ Ohyacon 08..went with a group of friends..it was REALLY fun to say the least..I didnt dress up or ne thing, but there was a good 2,000 people there every day for the 3 days...and I saw a lot of cool costumes there as well as a sweet play of naruto shippuden
