Well, I'm trying to put in my own monochrome background color (I know the hexadecimal code necessary for the background color I want, so I just want to paste it in there myself), so no, I wouldn't be informed as where to put it. I use it just to keep up with local bands and rock shows where I live, to be honest. If I wanna talk to someone, I'll use an instant messenger

The only reason I have a myspace is because I'm always on the move all the time. Not all time I'm going to have access to a computer that has IM programs on it. Myspace is also good for keeping in touch with not just friends but also business contacts, bands, media, etc. If you look at from a business view, its a great place to advertise. For example, AO is an anime forum so most of the sites advertised here have something to do with anime. Myspace is a generalized website based on profiles. We have profiles on here but we can't do anything to them. Myspace has forums to where some of the best debates I have ever seen take place.
Myspace isn't bad its just bad people use it for bad things.
The popularity is because of word of mouth I think. One person is on it, so their friends, if they dont have it, want to be on there two.. so it just grows that way. As for it becoming lame, I think its because its become so abundant that their ideas are becoming few and far between.
I hate those myspace profiles with a bunch of random crap on there.. its so annoying.. I dont even look at them even if I see a hint of that stuff.
I have a myspace too.. i get bored of it at times... but then at times im not. but basicly the only reason why im bored on and off from myspace cause none of my friends or on or just the friends i want to talk to arent on.. but its ok i guess.
not sure why you would say it is sick,i mean i have a my space
and have sevral freinds there from here,i also have a my space to
tak with famly in other states , so me being 33 dosnt make me sick
it makes me the person who like to keep up with famly and listen to the cool
music i add to my page there.
and i always deny freind request's from anoying kids ,i think
it isnt who uses it, but how you use it because i have yet to get
complaints form any one here that i know there about me being on my space

I have one as well. I met some of my old friends there. Its just another way to keep in contact with people I dont often see.
