It was a waste of are time and it was stupid every kid knows that you can go to college as long as you work hard how is his speech going to help us try harder it was a waste. Everything he said in his speech is what kids are told by their teachers and parents every day ( really meaning just alot so dont say not everyday) .

Yes, it was a waist of time, its the same old rederic kids hear every day, the only reason why they thought it would make any difference is because "OH LOOK ITS OBAMA!!" He was trying to use his popularity to motivate but from what I have been reading and hearing he probably affected the kids as much as parents and teachers do.
