I believe that love is happy and sad. You're happy when they love ya back, but sad when they say they hate ya. I recently went through a heartbreak and it dose not feel good at allllll.....(btw, theprincess, please stay on subject and keep that to PM's, k?)

Love for me is being selfless for someone...but there are different levels, some maybe deep and some are not...others think that love is having sex as in making love...sometimes, sex leads to lust so i don't think that's the right def'n....?!

i think love is the purest feeling you can have for someone and the one that is the easiet to confuse. a lot of people think they are in love but really aren't. to me love is a deep feeling you have for someone to the point where you would sacrifice everything you had to be with that person and make them happy. when being without them hurts so much you don' think you'd survive without them, where you can think of no one else but them and simply saying thier name makes you smile. when you know that you will always be able to count on the person and have your complete trust in them. all this is what i think is truly what love is, and i think that teens who claim to be in love with someone they just met a month ago to be stupid. because it takes to time to make all these things happen and it isn't as easy to find as some people think.

Heres my answer to topic one:

I define love as ultimate signifagence and importance. Its where you care about someone AS MUCH as you care for yourself. Yet you'd scarifice even yourself for their well-being.

Heres my answer to topic two:
Im in parental love! Ha! You didn't even have that one on the list!

And for three:
I think tough love is esspecially important when it comes tp parenting. but I think it should only be executed in a way where the person whos administering the "tough love" is actually making an effort to TEACH. Rather than just harsh consequences, with no real lesson behind it,

Love is many things... You will know it cause your senses will pick up on it... you will be able to feel it in your heart... If you ever had your heart skip a beat or pounding out of control you know what I am talking about... Love is such a strong emotion it can lead to some of the most dreadful emotions...
