I heard he was a just a rookie and didn't play a lot. Besides to even be considered a Yankee you have to win a World Series which he didn't. Its tradition. But besides that no one deserves to die anyway. It a shame he went out like this.

First of all he's not a rookie, he's 34 and a journey man (played withs several team), so just to clear that up for ya. He wasn't THE ROCKET or was he Nolan Ryan, but regardless he had done some great stuff.

It's sad that anyone has to go before their time, and on top of that what's even sadder is the fact that no one is focusing on the flight instructor that Lidle died with.

Nope I Don't think it was suicide he would of done it a diffrent way in stead of harming inoccent pepole (sorry for the misspelling) : )

My thoughts go out to his (and his instructor's) family...

Is it true that it happened on 10/11? Because my friend got a message from her friend saying "A plane crashed into a building in New York 10/11/06.... now flip the date upside down." If that is true, it's a weird coincidence..
