Thread: One of baseball's greatest was lost today :(

Aww, thats not good, i'm not a big fan, but my friend loves the yankee and she is prob. upset right now.

Well i hate the yankees, but still its so sad to see someone go out like this. I feel for his poor family.

I heard he was a just a rookie and didn't play a lot. Besides to even be considered a Yankee you have to win a World Series which he didn't. Its tradition. But besides that no one deserves to die anyway. It a shame he went out like this.

its so sad. im wondering what more is to come out of the story. its pretty lucky that nobody was hurt inside the building. what a scary way to die...

First of all he's not a rookie, he's 34 and a journey man (played withs several team), so just to clear that up for ya. He wasn't THE ROCKET or was he Nolan Ryan, but regardless he had done some great stuff.

It's sad that anyone has to go before their time, and on top of that what's even sadder is the fact that no one is focusing on the flight instructor that Lidle died with.
