Are our freedoms being removed from us?

I have often wondered just where our society is going to. Alot of our freedoms and rights are being infringed upon and I am curious to know if anyone else out there have noticed a change in the world we live in today as I have. For instance the right to eat in public places. A state, i cant remember if it was Alabama or Mississippi, has put a law into effect forbidding resuraunts from serving overly fat people. Basically saying that they are not allowed to eat, publically, if they are overwieght. Do you think this is fair? why or why not. What other issues have come to your attention and what are your views on them? Lets just see how conserned we really are about the paths our country has taken.
