Thread: Penny: Save it or throw it away?

THROW, as in literally trash it? Now who the hell does that? You can put 30 cents to good use. Make a phone call! Buy a candy bar! Or something! Then again, what candy bar costs 30 cents? +_+

I like spending money. But errr, trashing it? -__-

One can't even get a penny candy for a penny these days.(I've tried..unsuccessfully). Picking up a penny is an isolated incident, I'm not going to be picking one up everyday..

Conclusion: I'd flip it up and down until I lose it. Might as well get some amusement out of the thing.

If we're speaking literally here,
if I found a penny.. I'd leave it right where it was.

I mean, really?

"OOh.. a penny." - that's about it.

But if there's some sub-textual context to all of this.. I believe you should save as much money as you can. Like, not throw away a dollar for every little candybar you see at the grocery store. You should save money and then buy things!

I'm not saying anything is wrong with picking up a dirty penny.
I'm just saying I, myself wouldn't do it.
