Yes that is a true statement. Because the type of dog that most people pick act and at times look alot like the owners. It's just something that people do without thinking about it. They choose a pet that they think is cute or that they really like their personality. Which just happens to mirror the owners. And they tend to look alot alike as well.lol

I went to the pet shelter to buy a labrador of sorts . . . The one I wanted had already been claimed, so my mum pointed out this quiet little terrier who had been staring at us all our visit. She was a pretty enough thing, very calm, very patient, so we took her. I'm so glad we did. Poppy is the best dog in the world. She is very intuitive.

I would agree, I have a Husky mixed Lab, and it's the funniest dog to be around. It loves to have fun and be around people. I would like to think that it ressembles me. I guess the statement could be somewhat true then.

yes i would most probally agree and i have a pitbull terrior that looks a lot like me neally the same height lol but his face is round and pulled together but he follows me and knows what time dinner time is because he barks

Yup i have a sharp-hay german sheperd mix and we look alot alike.

Nope. Both of my pets are dead, and I am quite alive.
Even while alive, neither of them were like me. I was always quiet and withdrawn while they loved to crawl all over people, even when they weren't supposed to.

i have to say no because all the dogs i had (4) looked NOTHING like me. they acted like me yes by being jumpy, hungry all the time and sad when their alone. when i picked a dog out, i look at how their built (coat, face, paws) and how they act. just because of those fido commercials, doesnt mean pets look like owners. altho SOMETIMES they do, but not in my case.

Actually no. My pets and I look nothing alike. When I first read this thread, it reminded me of the FIDO commercial. Very exaggerated. But yeah, it's impossible for me to say that I look/resemble my pets.
