I just watched a 2 hour special about pirates on the discovery channel. They talked about pirates in South East Asia and how merchant ships are getting pwned over there. It's pretty interesting you guys should watch it when you have the chance. It's called "Modern Day Pirates."

It's pretty cool Jamie. They would kill the entire crew and throw their bodies overboard and hijack the ship and sell the cargo.

Umm actually, for some martial arts masters, they train with their students being "Pirate Bounty Hunters".... a way to test real life-or-death situation skills, and to earn profit on the side.

It's more rare for these "masters" to be in America... most masters here are more into kosher-training. But every once in a while, you get one.

There was a Native American Ninjitsu Master (actually, it had a more specific name, but I can never remember it for some reason) that lived and trained students in the woods about 2 hours from here... but he got kicked out (not really kicked out, just vacated... legal stuff about how he can't live there anymore) and moved to Oregon... he trained his students harshly...... he even suggested for one of them to go train with them pirates.

Too little too late for all those who were interested in the California area. Ha!

It's anyone's guess if the treasures of old pirates are around.
I'm not too sure if new pirates have new treasure hordes or just sell them off immediately. I'd sell em on eBay. XD

just remember to get your butt back inside the ship before those 16 inchers cut loose, you'll blow your ear drums and most likely get rattled off the ship entirely..of course the recieving end will get a much much worse fate...
yeah i've known about pirates around those waters for years, so many islands theres no lack of hiding spots...kinda reminds me of the new anime Black Lagoon...they mount heavy machine guns and rocket launchers to..um "borrowed ships" surplus from Viet nam and korean war most likely... if your luck, like my uncle was, they will fire a few rounds and ask the boat to stop, grab all valuables from all passengers, like a bank robbery or something...and bogg off to god knows where, if your unlucky they shoot you first and then rob you...
