Yeah, I know what you mean. I remember an empty 2L soft drink bottle became a space ship, while a tree stump became a enemy base. Plus our once paved barbecue area became everything from a military base (most of the time), to an airport (our bikes the aircraft), & more.

Still, I do encourage my little sister to use her imagination a bit, & it's starting to show it's working. We still play on the Xbox, but it's still showing. There is hope for the future...

Ok i must admit when i was a kid i had little gadgets i played with not just paper and and a pencil, i often used my immagination and still do, it's great fun! especially on long walks, as a child i can't really remember my up bringing, it was some what terrible, i rember pokemon cards and these little figures called "Crazy Bones" they were awsome! still have em all somewhere, yep good times, today i just go on the computer and well really get on with my life, waiting for the next day, i enjoy it to the full so i feel it isn't wasted. I am greatful for my life just not my childhood.

I remember this one toy i had, well it wasn't specifically a toy. It was a car made from a bottle of coke with wheels made from a sandal. I used to put my trolls in it and play for hours with them, it was cool.

    Re: precious childhood toys

Most of my childhood I spent playing with Legos and building blocks.
I only remember having one soft toy and I think it was a panda bear........and i hated that thing with my life...soft toys never interested..I was and still am a tom-boy...I liked playing with cars and I liked to smash and break things...and most of all...I like building and making thins...no matter if it was mud or sand or Lego pieces.......lol

    Re: precious childhood toys

i didin't have that much of a childhood... so i held on tight to my toys, i've kept about 3 of the 5 toys i have held dear... :

i had 5 precious items as a child, though not reallyall toys, but i treasured them:
    1. my pillow
    2. my blanket
    3. my toy airplane
    4. my stufed bear (already lost an eye and an ear )
    5. my goofy glasses

i kept my blanket, toy airplane, and stuffed bear
i'll choose to love whoever i wish to love and nobody can stop me from doing so ----
