Thread: Rain or Shine?

I'm gonna say that I prefer rain. I just get excited when it rains...don't know why! XD Most people I've met say that rain is depressing but it makes me energetic! Aslo, the rain makes the grass smell so good! XD

I LOOOOOOOOVE Sun. The only time I like rain is when it's a sun shower.

I would have 2 say rain. I don't really like the sun. It's always 2 bright for me. And, i like the sound that rain makes! XD

I like both to be honest. I love hot weather, even if I end up complaining about it, but that’s mostly because I am in no situation where I can just curl up on the couch or sofa and sleep. But I also love the rain, sense I live very close to the desert, loving rain is kind of ingrained. The storms we get, when we get them in San Diego are very beautiful. How ever the static storm that pop up in the desert are terrifying. They are like mini hurricanes.

Sunshine puts me in a good mood. The light is what keeps happy and attentive so I'd have to SHINE!

*coughs* *clears throat* lets see... ermm... It's the ray of light or the shimmers of life...

I used to hate rain.. lol no kidding... I was like... yay time to go out and play.. and (thunderclaps) >.< ahh nice... and rain had to mess it up... then when i got older... a teenager i think... i started become all.. "bluey" when rain falls.. i'd sigh and watch the water fall... gee it made me feel very alone somehow.. lol ^^

If its the sunlight >.< we get too much of them here.. It's too hot in the day... result is... i have to be near the fan for... 3-4 hours? Damn hot i tell u..

Well, looks like an interesting bunch of replies. Seems most prefer wet stuff falling down from those fluffy things up there , but there are a few who like that burning ball of gas. No, not the latest politician to get themselves into a scandal...

I'm fine either way, both are kinda needed to keep this rock we live on survivable, especially Down Under. Mind you, we do get a bit more Sun than we need, so rain is always useful...

Me personally, I do prefer rain a bit more. I've got good eyesight, while great most of the time, glare actually hurts my eyes. My eyes are practically shut if it gets too bad. But when it rains, you get that musty smell as the dust gets thrown into the air, things start to come to life, & it sounds great on the roof of our patio out the back. It's also got 2 clear strips running from the house to the end, so during Thunder storms we run out the back & watch through them. So much raw, natural power...

Just wish it wouldn't knock out the power though. My local area doesn't have the most reliable power grid around, especially while it's being upgraded to underground...
