but most people that go to jail come out, and the only thing about them that has changed is their attitude about being caught. instead of teaching them it is wrong, they find outthings like "hey, prison isnt so bad" and "if i do this, i wont get caught".......

exactly. i mean, i dont want to sound like a Light Yagami, but people like that are beyond help (for the most part)

On a side note, Tasers are scary! no way i want to be shocked by one! however, as scary as they are, the facts are these; most people who pull a weapon, of any kind, in self-defense, get it used on themselves. in fact, most shootings, i belive, are shot with the victim's weapon! Unless you take an appropriate class, i do not suggest carrying and brandishing such a device. the best thing to do really is to just be Uber-Careful.

If this was new, I'd be shock, angry, mortified. Feeling as if those worthless scum deserve to die for actions so low and pathetic. However, since it's not...it's a whole, "Oh damn, again? That sucks." (This will probably get people angry for me throwing a blind eye, but look at those who get angry and don't do anything, they have no room to talk)

To me, this proves (Like many other things) why humanity sucks. Anywho, have fun trying to stop it. It'll be like trying to stop murder or humans doing anything. the most we'll do is the lower the rates of it happening, someone will always find a way. I will agree, it's a low thing to do, it is atrocious, horrid, immoral (HAH! Me talking about immoral...haha). Though how i seem (And what my friends know I'd do if given the chance...or pushed to an extreme) I actually have a moral against any form of rape...which is weird really...damn you conscience. Morality sucks, so does the human mind and what we do for pleasure....that was a pointless semi-rant.

We're humans, we're still animals. No matter what our "higher" status is, or increased intelligence, we're still animals. And our civilization is like an ant colony in a way, or a pack - in some sense we are...to me at least. This is just my view.

If you want my view, a good beating could teach a lesson. Honestly, they do it, why not tie them up, make THEM helpless, beat them. Kind of like that "You steal, your hands are chopped off" kind of thing. IT may seem cruel to some, but hey, it works, doesn't it? Well, perhaps opression can lead to some nasty results, still I'm not like saying castrate them, just...punch to the face, kick to the gut. Again, just my point of view on this.

however, just b/c "its been happening for a long time" doesnt mean that we should just shrug it off. honestly, if i ever caught a rapist, especially in the act, i certainly may be doing some jail time.

I am aware of the point, that's why I said what I said. It's honestly not that new. I see it as this, drugs and poisons have been around (Not all the drugs we see now, but poisons have been around for quite some time). Both can be used to take advantage of a victim in many ways. So I see it as, in the past I'm sure this method was used before, so really I just don't accept it as completely new.

anyone caught raping someone should be given the same thing back
if a guy is caught raping a girl then throw the guy into jail and let him get rapped by all the inmates
then (as a judge in California did) the rapist has a choice of castration or the remainder of his life on sex depression drugs.

This whole "Humane" crap for criminals who do these vile crimes is utter bull sh*t. Why should we show any "Humane" feelings to a person who showed complete disregard to another person and treated them inhumanly. I believe these people should be flogged, and suffer. You know the saying "don’t do to other you wouldn’t do to your self..." Well guess what, as some one said, lets throw them in a cell with a bunch of other cons but with no lube.

My feelings exactly, bein' "humane" is a two-way street and if these "rapists" wanna act like a "pack of animals..." Then I say, treat them as such. Although I don' feel that castration would really do much against "serial rapists," for they do it for completely different reasons than the rapists that we're talkin' 'bout here. The only thing that would work for them, meanin' serial rapists, would b death; 'cause castration wouldn' curb their cardinal desires. Castration, and other methods, haven' really been all that effective against them.
