Is revenge a good thing or just forgive and forget?
its depends on who you getting the revenge on and the reason you want to get revenge.
if a true friend backstab me for the wrong reason, yeah i get revenge, other than that no. I only got revenge if what ever thay did was really big
Well it depends on what the person did. Over all I always say you can forgive someone for what they've done but you can never forget it. And all revenge usually brings is suffering and heartache not to you and maybe not to them but their loved ones and yours as well. It depends on how far you are willing to go...
I view revenge as a good fuel for moving on and living. Nothing is better than living on sheer hate and lust for revenge on those who wronged you. Kill Bill, all that needed to be said.
"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
It all depends on what the situation was, and revenge can be taken many ways.
get hit with a water ballon and you go and hit them with a water balloon filled with pudding.
kill some one and you get killed by the state.
the list goes on.
As most people said, it really depends on what happened and who was involved. If some one hurt my girlfriend or my family or did something that was unforgivable then yes, there will be hell to pay, it will come swiftly and it will be very, very, very painful. Otherwise, its water off a ducks back, what ever, I'd just ignore it.
Well christianism says that God is the one who takes cares of revenge and therefore I most forgive, but I never forget though. I also think that, for every normal person, just an angry look, just my hatered should be enough to make him/her to be sorry. If not then I have had the "luck" to meet a terrible, terrible person ~.~ (luckily hasn't happenned yet ^^)
Tricky question. If someone lied to me or hurt me in some way, I'd be upset but not vengeful. It happens, yeah? But if it was done to someone I love, if tehy were hurt or wrongfully accused or something like that . . . then I would ask God to have mercy on them because I WOULD NOT. I've always been that way.
